Story
Kamen Rider Kabuto: Dark Era
In 1999, a meteor fell to Earth and obliterated the Shibuya district of Tokyo. Along with the destruction the meteor brought something far more dangerous: the Worm, an insectoid race of aliens with the ability to perfectly mimic the appearance and memories of a human. Seven years later, the Worm had infiltrated society and are slowly killing off the human race, replacing them with their own.
Earth's only defense laid with the secret organization ZECT, actually created by Worms who had arrived 28 years before the meteor fell into Tokyo. These Worm, who became known as Natives, created The Masked Rider System. A total of eleven Zecters were made, each containing the mobile power enhancement suits that were The Masked Rider Systems. Enter Tendou Souji: genius chef, philosopher, loving brother, martial arts expert and all-round Ace at everything he does. During a Worm attack, a young ZECT employee, Arata Kagami, called out for the Kabuto Zecter, but instead it chose Tendou. As a year of intense conflict went by, it was revealed that not only did the Worm who crashed in 99 want to replace humans, so too did a branch of the Native Worm. Tendou and Kagami, along with the help of their fellow riders, were able to defeat both aggressors. In the end, the Natives who wished to coexist with humans stayed peacefully in Japan, but the worm had begun to branch out into other countries and the fighting continued. Thirty years have gone by and a floating colony called Cocoons, was created for the peaceful natives as well as any and all human who wished to live with the Worm. However there will always be conflict. Two more meteors carrying the hostile Worm crashed and ravaged the planet. With the planet decaying and the majority of the human race whipped out, survivors were forced to move to the floating Cocoon colony. On the surface, New ZECT, lead by the same Arata Kagami and with the assistance of the Native Worm scientists, tries to stave off the hordes of violent worm, as they try to make their way to Cocoon. Tendou Souji had sacrificed himself several years ago when a third meteor threatened to shatter the planet, and the Kabuto Zecter seemingly lost with him. “Dammit!” Kagami slammed his fist against the council table. A new thermal satellite image displayed a new molting site were hundreds of worm were all gathering to molt and evolve at once. “We have had eleven known Zecters,” Kagami addressed his New-ZECT council room, “Where have they all gone?!” A human scientist spoke out, “Kabuto and the Hyper Zecter are assumed to have been lost with Tendou Souji, sir.” “I know that,” Kagami seated himself, “but what of the created Hercus, Ketaros and Caucasus ZECTERS? “As you are aware sir, we based them off Kabuto’s design, but…” the scientist trailed off. “BUT what?!” Kagami Shouted and jumped to his feet again. “But we have run into a problem,” a Native Scientist in human form spoke out, “we cannot find, or rather the Zecters themselves cannot find suitable wielders.” “Like with Gatack…” Kagami said a bit under his breath as he felt the empty slot on his belt where the Gatack Zecter docked. “Exactly, sir. And we would all like to reiterate the danger of you ever wielding Gatack again, your body cannot-“ Kagami interrupted the scientist with a swift hand gesture, “I understand. This still leaves Sasword, Drake, TheBee, the two Hopper Zecters, and… that one.” “The TheBee operator has just been chosen as of Monday sir.” One military looking man spoke up. “Good,” Was all Kagami spoke. “Sasword’s and Drake’s transforming devices are still under repair.” Yet another scientist, human, spoke out. “How long?” Kagami asked. “U-unknown, sir.” Kagami said nothing but squeezed a gloved fist. “And the use of the Hoppers requires delicacy.” The same military man, a Native Kagami noticed, spoke, “I understand we cannot afford delicacy right now, but the mental instability the Hopper Zecters create within their operator is too dangerous for anyone to waist their time to be concerned about currently.” The leather on Kagami’s glove looked ready to split, “And the other one?” “Sir you don’t mean…?” The Native scientist looked appalled. “We don’t have choice anymore,” the military man spoke for Kagami, “You have to see that! Did you know our leader was forced to become Gatack three times in this month alone!” The room fell silent. The risk of Chief Kagami using Gatack and losing his life in was too well known. The silence broke. Arguments about the New-Zect Heavy-Troopers incompetence, a vulgar Worm swear was used, and tempers boiled as fear filled the air. “Enough,” a powerful voice from Kagami echoed the council room, “Release it. Let it find an operator on its own. We may not know where Kabuto is, but dark times call for dark measures…”

Plot Points/Info
Plot points in story: -Dark Kabuto Zecter chooses a handler (RPer who wants to be Dark Kabuto). TheBee is sent to retrieve the Dark Kabuto and his Operator (whether they fight or not is up to the Rpers) DKabuto is asked to help New-ZECT with defending against worm invasion inside Cocoon. - The Hercus, Ketaros, and Caucuses choose their riders. Drake and Sasword are repaired. The Hoppers escape. New-ZECT Heavey troopers can be RP choices. -Worm fighting will be necessary on the ground and in Cocoon, and eventually becoming less and less of push overs (make the RPers think a bit harder to defeat them. -A hive leader emerges and is not being taken out by riders (escaping or defeating without killing) Forces Arata Kagami to Henshin one last time and sacrifice his life. -Gatack is running wild forcing Henshin with normal citizens in order to kill Worm (Native and Alien alike so if any of the riders are Natives they will be attacked or they might be attacked simply because they triggered Gattack) -The Worm on the surface are seemingly dieing out. Riders will be sent to investigate. -Eventually they will find Hives where the Worm are fighting amongst themselves in order to molt. -A single giant worm appears in the form of Dragonfly/Scorpion hybrid. Before anyone can react the earth splits and Cocoon is hit Hard. -Enter Hyper Kabuto one last time, but when he unmasks its not Tendou its a new RPer -With Cocoon on the ground fighting is nonstop to protect the humans who cannot defend themselves. So the Natives offer a solution: Become Native or Die... Or be chryogenically frozen... ... no end figured out yet.
Characters can be Human or Native, or Worm(but these can and will die eventually). Humans and Natives can be Riders, civilians, New-ZECT solidiers (Normal, Shadow, or Heavy) Worm characters will be helpful protagonists (and informed on plot points when needed). All but Dark Kabuto, TheBee, and Kabuto would have to RP becoming their respective Riders, but would only have to call dibs on a specific Zecter and as plot went on the lead of the RP would designate when the Zecter appeared before them.

Opening Post
Tap. Tap. Tap. That’s all that could be heard as the sun seemed to rise on a ruined city which seemed to be in the middle of an endless desert. Buildings were few and far between, but there were two skyscrapers which were still standing. The two tall buildings were tilted and tipped to the point where they touched, the windows all shattered and trails of blood everywhere. There were thousands of dead bodies lining the streets, but in all the chaos there seemed to be one person still alive. This person was wearing a jet black motorcycle uniform, with a red colored lion on the chest area, and a red helmet.
This person simply stood amidst all the carnage, head titled as if in the middle of thinking. The silently confusing moment soon came to an end as two seemingly human people walked towards the person, and three more came. They were all coming at the rider from different angles, but the rider did not make a move just yet. Letting them all get closer, they began to change. Their bodies glowed green, and changed into the monsters known as Worm. Turning at almost a breakneck speed, the figure delivered a round-house kick to one, and then punched another backwards stepping back to use the nearby building’s wall for support.
Suddenly the figure removed his helmet, revealing himself to be a black haired Japanese boy. His eyes were a deep hazel, and his hair was as black as his uniform. Lowering his hand to his lower waist, a belt suddenly appeared and he rose his hand to the sky. With the sun glowing brightly, a bug seemingly flew out of nowhere and into his hand. The sky became darkened with clouds, bringing thunder and rain as the boy smirked. The bug in his hand was now visible, it was a black Japanese rhinoceros beetle. The Worm didn’t seem at all phased.
The Worm began to come at him as one of them began to molt, its body turning red as it evolved. What came from the Worm was now what seemed to be a creature fused from a tiger and a spider. White fur and blue skin so to speak, with eight legs stemming from its back. In response to the appearance of the stronger enemy, the boy dropped the bug in his hand and it suddenly attached to his belt. “Henshin” He said as a dark blue aura went out in waves as his body was covered in what seemed to be a armored uniform.
The Worm began to come at him, but the armored fighter did not move just yet. As soon as they came closer he pulled back the head on the Japanese rhinoceros beetle, and it sounded. “Cast Off” He said in unison with it as the armor flung off and revealed an old enemy to the world of Kamen Riders, Dark Kabuto. “Change Beetle” It sounded, as the armor pieces collided with the weaker worms and finished them. Now it was just him and the evolved worm.
Standing his ground, the boy simply watched for the evolved Worm’s reaction. He would soon find it out too, as the beast came charging at him. At first it appeared to be at normal speed, but then clocked up just as it hit him. Being knocked into the wall of one of the skyscrapers, he simply cocked his head upward shortly before falling to the ground. Landing on his knees, he waited as the Worm came at him at clocked up speed once more. The boy reached down to the side of his belt just in time, as it sounded “Clock Up”. Time seemed to go slower as he used his shoulder to flip the Worm over him.
Using what little time he had to his advantage, he pressed the three buttons on top of the Dark Kabuto Zecter. “1..2..3..Rider Kick” He said in unison with the sounding, as he jumped upward. His kick met with the worm, launching it into the sky as it suddenly com-bust. “Clock Over” The Zecter sounded, as the boy suddenly returned to normal while Dark Kabuto flew away. He immediately walked over and picked up his helmet, almost putting it on as he was surrounded by Zect Troopers with their guns aimed at him for some reason.

"Stand down!" A hard voice shouted over the clicking of safeties being released and ZECT trooper hand guns cocking. A group of heavily armored troops pushed open a hole in the front line that surrounded Dark Kabuto. One of the Heavy troopers waved at the First new Kamen Rider in many years. Blond hair could be seen spiking out from the bottom of his helmet.
"Ok, men," voice seemed to come from the trooper in the front, but with their helmets on and their unnecessary numbers, the voice could have come from anywhere, "let us all take a moment to relax before firing our weapons. This young man is our new friend!" This voice was obviously not the same that had been so stern and strong moments ago. The trooper with blond hair sticking out, reached back and clicked the two releases on his helmet.
"Sir!" a nameless voice shouted out, "There is no helmet removal on the surface! A worm-"
"Ten-Hut!" The blond man, his full head of hair now visible with his helmet off. As the soldiers all straightened to a stiff stand, the silence only last a few seconds before laughter filled the dusty air. The blond man and his small squad of Heavy Troopers were all laughing together. One of the Heavy Troopers spoke up, "Relax soldiers the Major rarely has his helmet on. Natives can't be copied properly, copy of a copy, doesn't work."
The Major finally turned to face Dark Kabuto and spoke with his mouth smiling, "Well hello there! My name is Karmen 0498. I'm in charge of ZECT trooper special devision Heavy Troopers, and I want to be your friend!"
No one told Karmen this but the smile he makes whenever he is sincere looks incredibly too enthusiastic...

The still unnamed male who had just defeated the Worm wasn't really bothered by what was happening. With Zect troopers surrounding him and arming themselves immediately, his mind only came to a decision: kill or be killed. As soon as he got in the right state of mind, everything seemed to shut down. Some man called back the guard dogs of that which is known as Zect.
Confused by this sudden act, his eyes began to scan the mass of trooper. The voice could have came from anywhere, but he was not prepared to settle for that. The want to know what this was for was increasing, as was his potential interest of the entire matter. Zect sure did have a way of greeting people, didn't they? While in the middle of his discoveries, the voice could be heard again. The man..or whoever was clearly calling them off, and basically telling them to relax. Just what was this all about?
Still confused, the boy sat his helmet down while continuing to listen. He remained completely silent, and obviously void of any fear or scared qualities. If anything the look in his eyes was the look of a man ready to kill. This analogy of himself came just moments before the voice came once more, only this time referring to him a their 'friend'. What was a friend exactly? Taking only minutes to think on the matter, his eyes soon found the subject which had been talking.
One of the troopers seemed to stand out to him. The one with blond hair sticking out, who at this very moment was clicking the release things for his helmet. Another of the troopers tried to stop the man, reminding him of a rule just before being put in his place. Then another of the troopers, a more elite one apparently, spoke up and clarified why this male was removing his helmet. Apparently he was a Native as well, which made this man's blood boil almost. While keeping control of himself, he focused his vision to their superior officer.
Suddenly the man turned towards him, and with a smile he spoke. The man's oddly enthusiastic smile struck him a bit, as did him basically almost confessing his attraction to him in the way of friendship. Man this was all coming to him in very many strange vibes and thoughts. Taking a minute to think it over, he simply narrowed his eyes. "You should listen to your 'friends' a little bit more" He said, holding out his hands as if to address the entire platoon. "Exposing yourself is quite..idiotic in this world" He said, "but I find you interesting".
With that weird speech, his eyes returned to their normal distance and a smile just as enthusiastic as Karmen's formed. "Friendship accepted" He said, holding his hand out to shake Karmen's. This was all going a little too according to plan, but no one could really tell what this man was capable of. After all..they had only just met. "Kagai Mikoto" He said, after shaking the man's hand. That was almost the last thing he said, before cocking his head. "So..why did you need a small army just to meet me?" He asked, obviously just as confused as Karmen probably was.

Karmen happily shook the young man's hand. He looked back at the platoon and did realize the excessive numbers currently surrounding the young man. "Ha, it is a bit extreme," Karmen turned to the squadron, "Beta and Delta units dismissed to posts. Gamma unit perimeter, Heavy Troopers assist Gamma." In response to their orders, chorus of soldiers shouted, "Sir!" In seconds the black Ant patterned troopers scattered into the wastelands.
"Let's talk," Karmen hisitated for a second, "Mokoto-san, right? I'm not as familiar with Japanese formalities as I should be." A gloved hand scratched the back of his blond hair. "Anyway," he continued without even letting Kagai respond, "I do apologize for the number of troops. Think of it as a compliment! New-ZECT veiwed the appearance of Dark Kabuto as such an important project they had three squads and a fourth Heavy trooper squad ready and waiting for your appearance!"
Karmen had begun to pace side to side, with the heavy ZECT-Shot weapon mounted to his left hand rested on his shoulder. Karmen's overly enthusiastic nature meant he was a terrible read of others. It was a wonder that he was a leader of anyone with his laundry list defects. "Hey," Karmen smiled again, "Could you come back to Cocoon with me, New-ZECT H.Q. wants a sit down and debriefing, and blah blah blah. Its going to be really boring for a few hours, but I'll be there with you as much as I can. Though I will have a ton of paperwork now that I found you..." The enthusiastic smile had faded into a quieter smile. Karmen let the weapon fall off his shoulder, but his frame did not shake from the heavy weapons weight.
"So what do you say?" Karmen extended his free hand.

After the seemingly happy handshake ended, Kagai watched the interesting man. He turned and looked at the platoon he obviously leaded, and then came the funny analysis. Laughing, he said "Extreme would be sending thirty to fifty, this is just a bit out there". Karmen dismissed or rather ordered the Zect troopers away, and they followed just as he turned back around. This was a bit to be expected with Zect, though rebellion usually came later.
Apparently Karmen wanted to talk, but the way he addressed him was a bit weird. Weird meaning awkward in most people's eyes most likely. While raising an eyebrow, he listened to the man. Listening was all he could do since he wasn't really given the time to respond what so ever. What he could tell from the many hesitative and awkward movements of the man was that he did not seem comfortable, or was hiding something.
After apologizing for the number of troops, Karmen basically came up with an excuse for them. This was from Kagai's point of view at least, however odd of a one it may be. While trying to think of it as he said, his thoughts were soon interrupted by the pacing of Karmen. Something was obviously bugging, or rather biting at him something fierce. No man of his stature would pace like a confused kitten.
After many minutes of awkward pacing and movements, Karmen finally spoke up. The one word that came from his mouth was not what he expected, but what came next he did see coming. Narrowing his eyes, Kagai looked like he was ready to kill Karmen in that very instant. Although he looked like that, he did not make a move for a few moments after hearing what he had to say.
"Normally I would crack the skull of a man, or woman who was so stupid as to ask for that, but" He said while making a randomly dramatic pause. In a matter of moments his eyes returned to normal and he cracked a small grin, and even laughed quite nervous like. "I guess you can count me in, for now at least" He said, while walking over. "You know..you need to loosen up a bit" Kagai said, while patting Karmen's head lightly.
With that, he shook his hand and held that for a few seconds. After the most awkward looking handshake ever, he laughed and then walked two steps ahead of Karmen. "Lead the way" He said, while looking back out of the corner of his left eye.

Under his Heavy-Tech armor Karmen's body reflexively tensed that the boy's seemingly random out burst of aggression, but he forced himself to relax. "I've been trying to relax..." Karmen threw both hands into the air in exasperation, but laughed off his residual tension.
In truth Karmen had been tense, but not of his own volition. His superiors had given him very clear orders: bring Dark Kabuto and his new operator back to HQ. What was clear was the open ended nature of order was what bothered Karmen. He had met Arata, and been given permission to copy him, know his thoughts, past and present. Karmen knew then that Kagami Arata was the man he wanted to follow. That he was not the type of man to force cooperation through coercion, but Karmen also had met those under Arata. Both the Native and human alike were not of the same caliber.
All that lead to Karmen feeling a bit anxious about this meeting. Why would the superiors expect that a fight would be necessary?
Karmen had taken up the helmet he'd discarded earlier and clicked the straps back on. With his right thumb and index finger he clicked the Radio-on and outgoing button, then spoke, "Drake-Bus, this is Operator Karmen, come in." Karmen paused for a response before he continued, "Pick up in ten at my location."
... Karmen was silent and listened, his head tilted down as he focused.
"Copy. Stay in the clouds till I give the all clear." Karmen released both fingers and turned to Mokoto. "I watched you work. Now watch me." Karmen raised the Zect-shot into the air and fired two shots with a 2 second delay. "We have a swarm coming in, fast. Ready to have fun?"
The Heavy Troopers and the rest of the infantry filed in quickly, and the buzz of Worms soon followed. Above Karmen's head another insect began to hover, TheBee zecter was waiting.

Kagai's eyes narrowed as he stood still, wondering what was going to happen. This is when Karmen took up his helmet and put it on, immediately he seemed to contact Zect. This puzzled him for some reason, as he had come to assume that the Riders were more important than this. This meeting was leading him to believe that he was going to be nothing but a pawn. Although receiving a high position and privileges, it seemed that a Rider was still just a pawn. Slightly angry, Kagai bit his lip as he watched Karmen. Something inside himself made him want to lash out and attack, but he could not do that just yet. Nor did he have a reason..
After a long period of silence, Karmen finally seemed to answer. That was just before he removed his helmet and turned to Kagai. Slightly confused, he tilted his head and simply listened. Apparently Karmen wanted him to simply watch him 'work' as he put it. The somewhat emotionless look on Kagai's face did not reveal how he truly felt at the moment. Rage, hatred, and the sheer want to totally destroy everything around him. Sure he had felt these things before, but this batch of new knowledge was making him begin to despise the world in which he lived even more..and every one in it. In his mind it seemed like the Worms belonged on the planet more than the Humans did, although that doesn't set right with him.
Suddenly the entire squad seemed to fall in line as a buzzing sound could be heard. Well it wasn't really a buzzing, but the sound stuck out so much that you noticed whenever the Worm were coming. While wanting to summon Dark Kabuto and deal with the onslaught himself, he decided to step back. Kagai was going to sit back and act reserved for now. The information he wanted would soon be in his hands, as would the path to true power. That was one goal he had, to surround himself with so much power that he could deal with the worms himself. At least, that was the tip of the iceberg.

The swarm began to appear. It was in moments like this, where the Worm acted like raging beasts, that Karmen felt a contempt for his own kind. The Native were still Worm, a further evolved and intellectual version, but it was the difference between cavemen and humans of today.
There at least a hundred of them. Running into and over each other in this rage to destroy. Karmen felt hate now, and gave his orders in a voice that overpowered the coming monsters, as they were now nothing but monsters to Karmen, "Heavy Troopers, Clock-Work formation, with Gatling set" - as he spoke the H.T. began began to form a circle with Karmen and Kagai point center - "Everyone else fall in. Three Reg troops to a Heavy Trooper."
They listened.
Karmen slowly and quietly removed the H.T. armor and weapons till he was just in the black body suit. He In haled and exhaled slowly. A voice could have been heard under the thunderous marching if, "You Regs are in for a treat." Karmen threw his left wand into the air, the yellow strapped Rider Bracer shown over the black body suit. TheBee zecter circled once than attached itself to the port on the bracer, and Karmen shouted, "HENSHIN!" The chrysalis casing of Masked form flowed out from the bracer and enveloped Karmen.
"Fire on my signal." Karmen ordered. His hand came down, his head tilted back, and under the helmet his eyes closed. He could feel the static connection the Worms had. It wasn't like the connected feeling other natives gave him, but like turning a television onto a channel with no station on it.
He opened his eyes, took a small step sideways, and raised his left hand to his chest. His right hand took the wings of TheBee zecter and flipped them over the body just as he twisted the zecter in the bracer, "Fire!" Karmen had shouted his ordered. The voice of the the zecter as it declared, "Cast Off," and just as his troops began their assault the Masked armor ejected through their ranks and into the oncoming horde. "Change Wasp," the zecter declared as TheBee's eyes shown.
For a second Karmen just stood idle as only thirty yards away, the worm were barely being held off by the endless firing of the Zect-Gatling and ZECT-Shots popping. Karmen smiled under his mask right before his hand hit the Clock-up ignition on his hip.
It was a split second before the circular formation was itself encircled in a ring of green fire as the worm began to burst. Karmen was a ferocious fighter. He refused to hold back in any manner, regardless the strain it put on his body. "Rider Sting!" echoed all over the field of not yet molted and burning worm.
A regular ZECT troop held his fire in awe at the sheer carnage. The man felt a light sting of uselessness with the might of a rider displayed in front of him, but that second of regret was all he got before the eyes of TheBee glared at him, "Who ordered you to stop firing?" The rider was gone before the trooper could realize what had happened, as Karmen hadn't left his clock-up speed. The soldier restarted his firing into the wall of green flames.
"Halt!" Karmen shouted. In a few second the dust and fire dissipated. Not a worm stood. Karmen twisted and released TheBee. "Thank you," he said, and the zecter flew off.
"How was that?"

Not impressed one bit by the number of Worms there were, Kagai simply stared on ahead. He was however impressed by all that was happening in a matter of seconds. Karmen was shouting off orders left and right, and the entire squadron(so to speak) fell in left and right. Well not exactly left and right, but they came in and maneuvered so fast it wasn't funny. It almost gave off the sense that they were all more than human, but was this true? The thought intrigued the simple minded man.
In a matter of seconds, Karmen and himself were surrounded by the Reg/Heavy Zect Troopers. Staring around in a state that you could almost call awe. While cocking his head to the right, he watched Karmen Henshin and become TheBee. This was quite revolutionary for him, as he had heard of the Rider. Well he had heard of all the Riders as had most people, but there was something about TheBee that clicked with his inner darkness. Slightly impressed simply by him being TheBee, he smirked as he watched the battle commence.
The Worms came towards them so idiotically that it wasn't funny. It was as if they didn't care one bit that they were coming to their deaths. Kagai narrowed his eyes as he watched the battle truly begin. Order after order seemed to be coming from Karmen as the Worm were being dealt with as if they were fleas, or something that meaningless. After the cast off, the battle seemed to be coming to a quick and decisive end. Though it was not over yet, he was beginning to feel satisfied that he was going to be working with such a strategic and quite impressive man.
A smirk formed on his face as Karmen activated TheBee's finishing move. Using that and the sheer power of his brain, in other words, strategy had won this battle. Of course it wasn't only strategy, but also pure carnage. This battle had not only impressed him, but it had changed his outlook on Zect and their effectiveness. Although..an entire army of soldiers was still nothing compared to a Kamen Rider. At least that's how he saw it, and hopefully would be able to prove it. While cocking his head once more, Kagai watched as Karmen thanked TheBee Zecter as he released it.
Karmen turned towards Kagai and asked him how it was. By it did he mean the battle? He took a few seconds to consider that before laughing. "Well to be honest" He said while taking a dramatic pause. Kagai took his time deciding on what to do, and then he smirked. "It was pretty freaking impressive" He said, "though the two of us alone would have been more impressive". After that last comment he smiled that dark sort of smile and then snapped his fingers randomly. "Anyway..back to HQ or whatever?" He asked. Kagai was quite interested in seeing more.

Karmen smiled his sincere over the top smile, as two of his Heavy Troopers brought their commanding officer his gear. "True, you and I may have been able to do just as clean a job," Karmen spoke in an almost giddy tone as he dressed himself, "but this is what my men train for, so to deny them that wouldn't be fair." Karmen put his helmet back on and after a quick relay back and forth he released the buttons again.
Through his visor, Karmen surveyed the men he'd just worked with. Every single one alive. Today was a good day, but there had been a fault in the routine. A small predictable pause that was to be expected, but still it needed to be corrected. As Karmen walked back to Kagai's side, he tilted his head towards the regular trooper from the Gamma unit who had held his fire for that brief second. In that pause the enemy the soldier would have hit a Worm that had begun to molt, instead Karmen had to alter his route and take out the worm mid shed. its small flaws in a damn that let a bead of water through.
In a few more seconds after reaching Kagai's side the aircraft Drake-Bus arrived. It had been based off the physical design of the Drake Zecter, hence its name, but the underside and tail were fitted to carry soldiers, and before civilians, to and from Cocoon. Karmen insisted Kagai entered ahead of the men with him, and lead the way to the middle section of the bus. The rest of them ZECT soldiers sat themselves in the back end and strapped in for the ride.
Once in the center Karmen excused himself to the cockpit, but only to lean his head in. He spoke with the men in their for a few seconds. Karmen came back to sit down with Karmen, and once the flight was in way, he began talking, "We Kamen Riders are here to protect both Native and mankind from ruination by the worm, but I feel like if they depend on us they will fall. I know our power, surely yours as Dark Kabuto, is enough to do so much more than protect. Two or three riders together would be more than this world, before its fall, could defend against. Yet, protect we must, I must. I protect them from their dependence on us. For now, there is just you and me, others will come out from the shadows, be chosen, but all the while I fear the more of use there are the more complacent they will become, and that is when we will have our biggest struggle."
Karmen paused, "I apologize for rambling, but I feel like you can sense it too. Their frailty and weakness. They are so desperate to survive they can be so easily mislead."
Again, that smile came across Karmen's face. He was happy. This new companion was powerful, he could assure himself more powerful than he, but knowing that he was even coming along for the ride to Cocoon and New-ZECT HQ meant something.

YuriYuri was walking around with her camara. She is a very smart girl who can handle herself and others well. She is a strong indepentend woman who can speak moe then one language. Yuri knows how to speak Japanese, Korean, English. She is a very well rounded person. She has a very kind and caring personality; however, she never lets anyone take advantage of her. Yuri stop and brought her camera to her eye. She saw something that gave her a feeling that she should capture the image. She took a few pictures and smiled. Yuri suddenly heard something behind her. She let the camara hand around her neck as she looked around. Something didn't feel right to her right now. She sighed and contiuned to walk, but felt like she was being followed. Yuri found something else she liked. She crouch down and took the picture. That is when she relized then that something bad was going to happen to her. She got up and started to run. She ran herself into a corner. What was she going to do now. A worm was approching her. She did not know what to do that the current moment. Her throat was so dry she could not scream. She backed up against the wall and just stood there in fear.

As soon as Karmen began to speak, he turned to the endless dessert that was this planet and shook his head. It was all so barren and completely worthless, but..it was their only home. The simple fact of that set him off in some way as he cracked his neck, turning back to the man. Kagai sighed rather heavily as he heard what Karmen had to say. Not a single fact of what he said clicked with him, but at the same time he more than understood. Perhaps that is why he was given his new power..to set things right with the world. That is how he was beginning to see it now.
Kagai's eyes shifted up very fast as soon as he noticed something coming. To no surprise he was right, but he did not expect the Drake Bus to resemble the Drake Zecter, let alone be modeled for it. This was quite ironic, and in some ways confusing. It did make a lot of sense though, and it was a good use of technology when you looked at it. Karmen reached his side fairly fast, insisting he go in first. That didn't sit quite right with him, but Kagai did as he was told. He went into the middle of the bus with the troopers following behind him. For some reason this made him feel like he was being escorted to an execution, possibly even his own.
Eventually he was separated from them, and Karmen joined him in the middle section of the bus. Just as he sat down, he watched Karmen head to the cockpit. He did not stay in there long, which meant that the conversation was nothing special. When he returned, Karmen began to basically lecture him on many things, which made him sigh. "All of what you just said is how you see things" He said, with a voice obviously void of emotion. Kagai's eyes narrowed as he apologized for 'rambling', and then he smiled. This man was so confusing, and smart, but at the same time he was so blatantly blind.
These facts were all beginning to infuriate Kagai, as he simply stood. By this point the Drake Bus had risen into the air, and they were heading over top of a pretty much abandoned city. At least it looked that way. "You can teach a monkey how to read and write, and even fight" He said, "but in the end it is still a monkey". "You can give a poor man all the money in the world, but that would only corrupt said person" He said, "In the end..all things are the same. Except one". With one swift turn, Kagai's emotionless eyes were locked onto Karmen. "Humanity will always try to rise above their limits, but they always fail" He paused, "That is because humanity cannot surpass the limits they give themselves". "Those who cannot fight for themselves..deserve to die" He said, without a single care.
"We are not the same as humans" He said, "In fact..you do not seem human at all". "The fact is, Kamen Riders, or rather us are evolved beyond those limits of humanity" He said, "Through the use of devices created by the natives..if even they did". After a few minutes of pausing, he span to look back out of the window. At that exact moment he rose his hand and pointed his finger to the sky, just as Tendou Souji would have done. "There was only one man who did things right, but" He paused "I suppose the new generation is suppose to lead the humans..". Obviously troubled, Kagai leaned on the window seal and simply breathed. "Humans can only keep up for so long" He said, "It is inevitable that the Kamen Riders will be the only ones humanity can turn to, if they all don't turn on each other".
After Kagai's long and pretty depressing speech, he smiled a little bit as he held his hand out as if to caress the wind. "I wish to see that flower again" He whispered, before a small breeze blew through. Immediately after the breeze brought with it the stench of the Worm, and a high pitched scream(clearly a woman). Kagai turned to Karmen, figuring he would not need to say a thing as the man probably sensed it even before he did. "I guess this job isn't over yet" He mumbled to him, before looking out of the window again. How would they land in the middle of a somewhat still-standing city?
