The branches outside of the magnificent Tree...thousands of them, perfect for any size owl. The topmost ones are for scouting and weather predicting, the middle ones are for taking off, and the lower ones are for just resting outside of the tree.

Stral awoke, she hooted and chirped and stretched her wings out and down, getting stiffness out of them. " Hmm... its nice out!" she said as she took to the sky flying silently through the branches as fast as she could, using them to train a bit

Kyler stood at one branch and practiced flying to the other. He was getting disappointed in his flying but he kept on trying.

Fellan started flying around the branches, weaving her way through them.

Sylvia perched atop the branch outside her hollow. She stretched out her wings and fluffed out her feathers. As a soft breeze rustled her feathers, she knew it wasn't long before the prophecy would unfold. She gripped the branch harder and closed her eyes, thinking hard about the upcoming troubles.

Kyler was getting better as he progressed along the tree, he laughed at the fact that he actually started to get the hang of flying.

She was watching the young'un fly around and churred softly, thinking about the times when she was that age.

Coal silently weaved his way through the branches of the great tree, heading for the outer branches of the tree. Once outside he found himself a nice perch to gaze out at the endless stream of stars. His attention moved from the stars to see Kyler flying about, practicing his flying skills. The owl seemed to be getting better, and better.

Coal could recall learning to fly. His parents had not taught him, but the great gray who had saved his life had instead taught Coal how to fly. Though, unlike the gray, Coal was a silent flyer, just like every other barn owl. There were differences between him and the rest of his kind. By now, Coal had learned to not let those differences bother him. He was proud of who he was, proud to be a black barn owl, and prouder to be a Guardian.

The stranger from lands unknown
User ImageRizgael was looking out along the ocean, he was scouting as part of his training always looking at the sky familiarizing himself with the Ga' Hoolian constellation names. His species was more attuned to daylight flying but they kept him posted during the night so that he has more scouts helping him.

Sylvia fluffed her wings and yawned. It wasn't close to dawn yet, but she was feeling exhausted. Perhaps it's because of how much I've been worrying about the frinkin' prophecy... she thought bitterly.

Fellan kept weaving her way through the branches, purely for the feel of the wind going through her feathers. After a moment, she caught a glimpse of the queen, who seemed troubled. After a moment of thought, Fellan arched around and landed on the same branch as the queen.

"What seems to be troubling you?" she asked, looking out in the same direction as her. She watched the young knights of the tree as well.

Sylvia almost jumped at the sudden arrival of Fellan. "Just the prophecy. I can feel it getting closer, and I'm slightly nervous about it..." If owls could frown...
She sighed. "The feeling is like--like a poison in gas form, slowly moving throughout your body. You know it's there, you can feel it, but you can't see it."

When Kyler had finished his meal he went off to do some more practice flying however he tried to do more difficult flying for him. He dove from a branch; caught a lot of speed and opened his wings to slow down. He landed on a branch perfectly and stood there for a second then whispered under his breath.
"Did I just do that?"
Kyler looked out across the massive sea of Ga'Hool.

Fellan kept looking out, listening closely to the words. She thought a moment, letting them echo through her mind. The ryb began to form words in her mind of what she wanted to say.

"I'd say that you're right to be nervous. I have a feeling most of us are. Anyone who faces this head on, trusting on their strength and pure stupidity, is a fool. I'd say I'm nervous as well, but I've done everything I know I can, so the feeling is much more mild and can be completely ignored, if needed," She spoke her thoughts aloud. It was true. She was nervous, but she knew that there was nothing more she can do.

The stranger from lands unknown
User ImageRizgael being as twitching and as nervous as his species always was, was never comfortable staying in one area long so he had to continually trade people places since he could not handle just sitting still he had to move or do something. But he always remained wary, some of the other owls were thrown off by his constant eratic behaviour but most were explained how his kind are. So he took off like a bolt of lightning hurled across the tree to trade places with a larger artic owl who more or less lazily flew to Rizgael's old post knowing it wasn't going to be the last time he saw this annoying little owl.
