What you'll need:
Tomatoes ( 50 - 60 vine ripe ' use less tomatoes if larger than your fist ' )
Bell Pepper ( 1 red pepper )
Sweet Red Peppers ( 3 red peppers 'may come in a bag of 3 )
Garlic ( 2 minced cloves)
Olive Oil ( 2 - 3 teaspoons )
Sea Salt ( 2 - 3 teaspoons )
Onion ( 2 large onions )
Celery ( 2 - 3 stalks )
Parsley ( as much as you like )
Oregano Oil ( 5 - 7 drops ' you can also use real oregano, to taste' )
Hardware:
Steamer
Crockpot / Slowcooker
Food processor ( a hand mixer is also acceptable )
Teaspoon
Wooden spoon
Large bowl
Freezable plastic storage containers
First seed your tomatoes (remove all of the seeds so only the flesh is left) and steam them until soft. Follow the same rules for the red peppers as well. All of the veggies are going to be steamed until they are very soft, so they can be cut in a chunkier method to save time. Once all of the ingredience are steamed up, one at a time add them into a large bowl, and liquify them with the food proccessor or hand mixer until smooth. Once everything has been mixed together, add to the crockpot / slowcooker, and set to cook on high for 4 hours.
Now add the Parsley, Oregano Oil, Olive Oil, Minced Garlic, and Salt. Stir in with wooded spoon, and finally cover it and let it cook. When its done, you can user it on top of pasta, add meat to it and use it a lasagna, keep it around for various tomato sauce needed applications. Freezing and storing is easy after this. Pull it out 2 - 4 days befoer needed and let defrost in your fridge.
Produces 8 cups of sauce.
