ok so both of these fighter once fought goku, and helped(lol) fight the sayains but after that? we all know about tien fighting cell but yamcha was there throughout the show....who could have benn the better fighter?

I think... Tien... Maybe...
Only because he fought his entire life. I mean yeah so did Yamcha, but he gave during the 7 years Goku lived in the other world, so yeah... Tien carried on, so i think he is stronger than Yamcha.

Doctor_Who_Amy_Pond I think... Tien... Maybe... Only because he fought his entire life. I mean yeah so did Yamcha, but he gave during the 7 years Goku lived in the other world, so yeah... Tien carried on, so i think he is stronger than Yamcha. yea.....that is a valid point......i think they should have kept yamcha more bandit-like during the series....after he broke up with bulma he kinda turned cookie cry

It seemed like he took it more seriously and wanted it more.
Yamcha just kind of stumbled into it and never worked as hard.

yamcha the desert bandit and tienshinhan were the s**t... then during z they became a liability (tienshihan sorta)... but hes much better!!
