Oh, come on! You knew that someone here would eventually hop on the bandwagon and make this thread!
Anyway, I'm super psyched about these games! They're already out in the Zen Gardens, but I can't wait for them to come out everywhere else! whee
Okay, enough of my mindless blabber. Let's just get to the basics of this discussion, ja? I mean besides the ToS....
Favorite starter and/or starter you'll choose?
New Pokemon you like? Ones you dislike?
Opinions on this new set of legendaries?
Have a team already planned out?
What do you think of the new gameplay mechanics and innovations?
What do you think of the new cast of characters? The male and female protagonists?

I was told a million times of all the people in my way From what I've seen, when I can get my copy, I'm getting fire pig. I think it's too early to plan anything out like teams... how I had to keep on trying and get better ev'ry day

Surprisingly enough, Desukan is a pure Ghost-type. No dual-type to him. 3nodding
You mean Gear? Well, if you like that one, I'm pretty sure you'll love its evolved forms, Gigear and Gigigear. 3nodding
I heard from Zestrel-kun that the story for these games is deeper than previous installments....and has a sadder ending. Well, from the piece of music he got me to listen to from the actual games, it told me as much.... sweatdrop
Team Plasma and its executives are....different. Not exactly the bad kind of "different", but I only say that because of a lack for a better word to reflect my progressive opinions on them.
Also, there's something different about Isshu's Elite Four than in previous installments. Instead of facing them in a fixed order, you choose the order in which you battle each of them.

crying I'm sorry fire, I gotta go with grass or the water starter this time.
I want to get back into pokemon so bad. ;w;
I miss my typhlosion, blaziken and legendaries (except for the regis, and the dogs and the original birds + latios and latias cause I never got them) the most.
Need to get me two/three gameboys so I can transfer my babies over.

Oh man, I remember one of the times I caught one of my water legendaries (don't remember if it was lugia or kyogre). I was throwing great balls left and right at them, went to ultras, ran out of lures and didn't want to use my master. I chucked a single pokeball and caught it. Biggest OMGWTFLOL I ever had in my history of pokemon training.
Spent about 80 great balls on it. . . Yeah. . . >____>;; [/rant]

Eh, the starters were always a mash-up of elements for me. Squirtle for Red, Bulbasaur for Blue, Cyndaquil for Gold, Chikorita for Crystal, Mudkip for Ruby, Treeko for Sapphire, Turtwig for Platinum, Totodile for HeartGold....That deal.
LOLworthy rant is LOLworthy! In the end, the pokeball did the trick that the other, more efficient versions should've done! xd
Oh, man....I remember those days I had to reset three or four times until I managed to catch a legendary....especially Registeel and Darkrai....I wanted those two so badly....I cried tears of joy when I finally got them! TwT

I never got the the regis. They never appealed to me very much. owo
I remember one time I restarted for the hell of it. Ended up using a master ball because I actually ran out of the crazy amount of balls I had. It was a legendary so it was acceptable. XD;;; Can't remember if it was luiga, ho-oh, kyogre or rayquaza. It was one of them. My poor pokemanz (usually typhlosion, sudowood, red gyarados, blaziken or wailord) had to stand there and take the abuse from the legendaries. XD I think my babies need a break from all that.

I was told a million times of all the people in my way I never got into any of the legendary ones honestly... In Leaf Green I beat the game with Charizard, Dragonite, and Nidoking. Saphire, I played through with Sceptile, Absol, and after I beat it, Metagross became a permanent part of the team. how I had to keep on trying and get better ev'ry day

Eh, I have a Metang, but never had the heart to evolve him into a Metagross....I guess you could say I grew too attached to him as a Metang.... sweatdrop In other news.... AHSGFDAHFDHAFAFAHWGADS. gonk .... ....I'm sorry....but this has got to be the best Desukan gijinka I've ever laid eyes upon! I don't even like gijinkas, but this is one I'll make an absolute exception for! heart
