According to articles on the internet, after a interview with TWEWY's creator Tatsuya Kando, it was stated that he originally said that the game wasn't designed with the intentions of their being a sequel now stated last year that, "We’re very thankful that this title has been received so well, and as we see that there is demand from both Japanese and American fans, we would definitely like to consider the possibility of a sequel. Since it is not possible to get right into development at this moment, please give us a little more time.
Apparently, Square Enix is working on new Final Fantasy's and Kingdom Hearts: Birth by sleep(which is out now) and since this article is somewhat old, it is possible that the new TWEWY might be worked on soon, this time the developers seem interested with the capabilities of the wii, this could be a 3d game when it's made. I believe it also said that there interested in making a remake of it on the wii, though I might have interpreted the information wrong. At any rate, if it hasn't been worked on yet, chances are it won't be out until mid next year anyways, but thats assuming that Square Enix and Jupiter don't plan on other stuff right now. HARSH! gonk The greater the wait, the better or suckier the game, like Bioshock 2's let down for example.

I saw this article before too. I wish they'd hurry up with making it.. I can't wait to see how it'll turn out. Unfortunately, I don't have a wii, but I plan to either use a friend's or watch the whole thing via YouTube. When I think about what I would like to see in the next TWEWY... there's such a conflict of wants. I'd love to see Neku and the group partnering up again against something new, but having new characters under similar circumstances would be awesome too. The only problem I see with the new characters is the possibility of Square Enix and Jupiter creating duplicates of the old characters. Eww. Some new pins would be nice, I guess. I'd rather have the same map, if it's going to be 3D it'll look different anyways.
