Hmmm... Tough one...
I have read the manga and watched the show, I'm quite fond of both...
But I'll say... The show. I love their voices! LOL!

ive only seen the show but if i read the manga i would say manga because u got more blood and stuff

❛❛I've been looking at some of the artwork from the manga online.
The black and white throws me off a bit.
And it's so weird to see it printed in the same font as Garfield and Family Circus. xD I expect some like epic font or something I guess, not the standard everyday comic font you find in the newspaper.❜❜ <3 -primaczarina-

I'd have to say the show because Dragonball Z isn't the same as Naruto. By that, (and this is just my opinion) Dragonball Z is so good that you can't capture the same emotion and everything if you were reading the manga. Naruto Shippuden is a different story where reading it is so much better than actually watching it, with an exception of a few fights such as Sasuke Vs. Naruto or Sasuke Vs. Itachi.
But let me say this now, I will only go with the show if it is the original. I cannot stand the voiceovers in Dragonball Z Kai.
