It is our job to spread the word of Christ to everyone willing to listen, especially Atheists. If they are here to cause trouble, then it's up to the guild's leaders as to why they are allowed to post. But if they are here to learn, then it is our responsibility as children of God to educate them to the best of our abilities.
You shouldn't get away from Atheists. You should spread the love and kindness of Christ by moving towards them. How are we ever to share the Word if we get away from the people we are supposed to share the word to?
By the way, when someone says "no offense," that doesn't excuse them from offending someone else and is usually followed or preceded by an offensive remark. Please keep in mind that Atheists are people too and even though our beliefs are different, we are called by God to treat them (along with everyone else) with kindness and respect.

smoochum v1 No offence, but I came here to get AWAY from these kind of people; not surrounded by them. i totally understand what you mean. outside of Christian Guilds, people are allowed to post filth, and God-hating, Christian-hating, Bible-hating, Christ-hating Threads and Posts are EVERYWHERE out there in the Forums and it can get really discouraging and wear and tear on our emotions. I came here as a type of shelter from all that too, in hopes of joyous fellowship with like minded believers. The truth is, it's not easy to find and here on the interwebs, there's always going to be bitter people lurking and waiting for their chance to verbally bash someone for what they believe and humiliate them. I have complained about the posts that are permitted in this guild, and really it's just a waste of time. Just set your Language Filter to high because the few little potty mouth trolls in here have fun littering the place w/ swears and nasty comments. There are all kinds of people in here from different denominations, just ask God to give you wisdom as far as what to believe and accept as truth. My suggestion is to ignore the filthy, hateful posts.. do not even respond to them. heart

I don't mean the nice athiests, they're all right and I'm more than happy to be kind towards them. I try to be kind to everyone. Its just the rude ones that refuse to listen an mock my religion that I dislike.

They'll always be around, no matter where you turn. Probably the best thing to do is ignore them. Or try to rebuke them. Though I doubt they'll listen...

Not every Atheist has a hidden agenda.

Maybe some of them want to understand God more, but are too afraid to visit their local church? They hide the curiousity by making fun of us, maybe?

I'll be honest. I'm interested in all religions. I don't go to the churches because that's when the people start to actually try and convert me.
