It's a really big if, but I can somehow see this happening.
IF Hawkeye ever said something leading up to saying she loved Roy, I can somehow imagine her saying this:
"I can't protect you without a gun, but I can't embrace you with a gun."
I don't know how I thought of this, or even why, but I can see this happening.

Nice...I really can see that happening...too bad you couldn't sell it to FUNimation or something so that they could have made an extra episode simply based off that quote.

Wow, veru nice! You should write a fanfic based around that.
They are having a conversation and some how they confess to each other. Then they talk about how they have kept it from each other because of the military. Then somewhere in the conversation Riza could say that.
