i often have trouble against man-at-legs, not at dodging his attacks but at attacking him. though i find yellow pikmin are best for attacking him, reds kill him more quickly but are harder to get on. and i often have to improvise depending on where i fight him. How do you guys deal with this boss?

a combo of yellow and blue for some odd reason. also use the barriers too hide when he starts using the gun.

the thing is kinda hard but u should just take yellow and blue pikmin and put the spicy thing
(the one that makes them stronger and faster)
then if theres any water try to lour it out by hitting it withe the blue pikmin then when he gets closer use the yellow pikmin and if hes going to shoot then get behind one of the walls and if ur stuck turn him to stone cause thats all i do

In the one where it is surrounded by water I found it was very effective to take a very small group of bulbmin and blues. If you are fast enough there is a certain barrier that it can't reach. You just have to position yourself right because when it fires at you it can graze over the barrier. I will then run back and forth and attack it when it stops firing. It takes a long time but it reduces pikmin loss. ((other methods I try I end up losing all my pikmin sweatdrop ))
