If you remember a few month back there was a zOMG! Awareness Week thread in the z!Forum, well it did great and brought in a lot of new players. The people that set is up did a awesome job. But the momentum died down. sad Well the idea was mine, but due to some surgery I had to have I decided to just let other do it, but this time I will be much more involved and my hope is that we can keep its momentum going this time around.
What I'm asking for is ideas, donation for prizes, help hosting events by you and any guilds or clans that would like to help. z!Spot will concordant the event but I'm hoping to involve a lot of you! We would love for you to suggest games, contest and to donate items, gold and art as prizes. Now [ JK ] is doing a zOMG! avatar contest so I would like to hold off on that type contest for the time being.
Everyone is welcome to help in anyway you can. If you would like to be part of the crew, keep in mind that crew and Vice Capt can NOT enter contests. But they can play games. wink

Banners and art
Prize donation: Art, gold and items
Coordinator for the Event (Someone that can keep us organized and stay in touch with all faction of the event.)
Admin/Dev Go Between. (We want to make sure to keep everything within the rules and to have the mods/admins support. We also don't want to conflict with what the devs have planned. ( Someone other then me would be good since I don't know any admins or mods.)
Art coordinator Find us art for the banner and for prizes
Prize coordinator Get donations and award prizes.
Judges and hosts for contest and games

Raffles to help raise money. (The Winner get's a portion)
Game Ideas
Hide and seek
Race: Races but with instances such as Dead Man's Pass, Gauntlet, etc.
Trivia Games (Kind?)
Daily Events
In game
Show your zOMG! Pride, gathering in the game.
I AM days, have one I Am meet up each day of the Pride week
Dragon Day
Dev cos-play day
And have people wear the zOMG! Monster Armor if they can!
Fluff love day
Rainbow day
Bring a friend day
RP in Baron Day. (Mass RP, everyone is invited to join in. Theme to be announced with a bit of back story)
The "Good" the "Bad" and the "Ugly" day. (Dress as angels, devils or monsters this day. We'll set up some kind of games for the factions perhaps?)

zOMG! Pride? I like it. But you should make a public thread about this. So anyone and everyone can access it without having to find this guild. smile
Idea's for contests?
We could host live zOMG!...

One game that was played by a random friendly person and I was hide and seek. We hid in bass'ken lake, and offered (10k)? to who ever found us first. It was fun and others who were a good sport about it had fun as well!

We hid in bass'ken lake, and offered (10k)? to who ever found us first. It was fun and others who were a good sport about it had fun as well! We have hide and seek on the list, but there are a lot of ways to do it. I thought we could hide z!Spot on a server and let people try to find her. Maybe offer 100k to the one that Post a screen shot with her first?

This was just suggested to me, she didn't want her name mentioned.
"Maybe you should do a Gaia pride week and in that feature zOMG!. That way Gaians won't feel like you are trying to split the community."
What do you guys think? Does it really seem like we are trying to split the Gaian community?
Also I thought Show your Pride zOMG!en Community! would be a good slogan. Again, what do you think?

I don't think it seems like we're trying to split the community so much as bring attention to one part of Gaia, which is not as popular as we would like. For the slogan, how about zOMGaian community? smile A lot of people I talk to say they have either finished the game and quit playing out of boredom, or they tried to play and ran into too many glitches. I wish we had access to some statistics on how many users play regularly, how many have finished the game, etc.
