That is a lot.

Well. We could pretend that the humans have a republic. Maybe some form of Monarchy rather than a dictatorship unless there is a kingdom ruled by a harsh king.

Cryptography; secret government
That seems like something that should be reserved for some kind of occult we may make. I have an idea for one which...may or may not be liked. It's a specific blood line clan. Eh. Another part of Lore I guess.

I like the idea of having a type of cryptography government, and I think it could be true and functioning and not just part of the lore.

That's what I was thinking of. The government is part of lore, but much is unknown about it, because it is suppose to be secret. Of course, I can only imagine myself having a hand in it. Though having more than one person help could be beneficial.

My mind is only working on two cryptographies. One is an occult that is centered around an orb they call 'The Null Sphere of the Void'.

The Null Sphere of the Void is a priceless artifact which holds within itself a space of unimaginable volume or a 'void'. The Null Sphere has the ability to control the dead and make nightmarish creatures of untold origin and wickedness, aka Shadow Beasts or Creatures of the Void.

Through the original and soul bloodline is a family which is suppose to protect The powerful sphere and keep it out of the hands of those...undeserving of its power. The one who is the generation's holder of the orb is given the title Null Void. Donning this title, the appellation means that they are forever bound physically, mentally, and spiritually by the orb's supremacy.

The current 'Null Void' must give unto the orb his or her blood, and, in return, will be given the power of the Void. With that power, they now have dominion over the workings of the shadows and are skilled in the ways of necromancy. Each Null Void has at least one ability that sets them apart from those before him. Despite the grandeur bestowed unto them by the orb, it comes at a price. They must keep it safe at all cause for if the artifact was to shatter, then the apocalypse would be sure to ensue.

The special bond between Null Void and The Null Sphere is great. So great in fact that even in death, they are connected. Once the one known as Null Void dies, his being will be summoned and brought forth into the Void. Now an everlasting 'immortal', that Null Void will join his ancestors in the darkness unless summoned by the cults current Null Void.

I'm trying to work on a clan name. I would do the Nullian Voidals, but that's a bad one. Eh.

The other one is an assassination clan. In a way. It's run by a man known only as BLACK. The groups name is Black's Forces and they're actually an assassination group. Eh. That's just my opinion. You know.

It seems to me like most of those are just branch-offs of more basic forms of government. What exactly are we trying to get at by this thread? or this guild. I am kind of confused.

We're trying to make one big world. Of course, we're going to focus on a continent first. My apologies if this seems confusing. Right now, we're discussing the governments each kingdom could possibly have. Of course, we need to get the races, then kingdom, and then government.

Care to go to races and give us ideas on who we should include?

As Neotepid said, this thread is just for us to decide on some of these to use on the first continent. I agree that it would be much easier to do this after we have the races, religions, and such created first; thus, we could form a society around the race and people in the area.

As for the The Null Sphere of the Void, if we were to use this as a guild/clan/government, there would be a lot of work involved so we could get more than just the holder into the society and more of a reason to keep the orb out of the hands of others rather than just an Apocalypse... I could think of a few people who would think that would be an amazing thing, to set off an Apocalypse in a world.

I'm putting it in there, because some people may want the 1/2/3. LOL! I'm giving it to them. Once we get tired of our world, we'll actually get the ball rolling for the 1/2/3. When this happen, we may put up some alerts on the thread telling them what's going on. You're welcome. Me think 'head.

Oh, and the apocalypse will happen if the Orb is broken or somebody makes a deal with the monster lurking inside. If a person find it, they're more likely to use it as a tool of chaos and destruction. You need to break the sphere to break the world.

You can't assume this about player characters. They will do anything for fun. So we'd have to come up with consequences and peramiters for the use of it. Even the organization could be part of that, it could be something of a holy order of protection yet also of destruction and chaos.

When I said this, I was thinking of realistically. You know, out of the RP. Somebody would use it for their own materialistic gains. Why? Because they don't know that it'll bring about the end of the world. Well, some.

Now, the group is like that. They are a 'holy' order, but they go about it in the ways of...Lawful Evil or Chaotic Good. More chaotic than anything else. I was going to mention an assassination kind of clan, but scratch that, or at least for now we'll scratch it.

Now, if we are to have the clan in the FIRST continent, then we are going to have to look at the map to see a possible 'no creature' zone. You know, a place where they can be without being noticed.

Oh, right. Consequences. What would happen if a person not fit as the 'Holder' held it. Other than a surge of dark power...

Hmm...Mental corruption. Good and bad. Aforementioned before, the Null Voids tend to have a mindset different from the Holder. Though it's not by much, considerable change in the way they act are noted. If a person without the right of being holder takes the orb without proper knowledge of how to handle it may be corrupted and twisted in their minds.

If a good person takes hold, they'll turn evil. If an evil person takes hold, they're good, but there are withdrawals. Since the orb requires a blood sacrifice, it tends to drain a person of their life force and energy to fill its own needs. The longer you keep it in your grasps, the closer you are brought to death. The only person not affect is the Null Void. And then, the Holder do feel the affects, but it is only fatigue they are given. Not death like danger.
