This may have been a subject before, but I still have questions regarding to Purity rings. 1) If someone wears one but they end up having sex before they're married, than do they throw the ring out? Or do they keep it on? :/
2) Once the ring wearer (or bearer XD) is married and has sex with their partner, what do they do to the ring once that's done?
3) What makes a purity ring a purity ring? Like, can you slip any ring and call it a "purity ring", or do you have to order one in a specific place?
Thanks and have an awesome day!

1.the first one im not sure on... but i dont think you would have to throw it out or anything b/c s.r.t. teaches you dont have to be a virgin to make a vow... 2. ive always been told you give it to your spouse on your wedding day... 3. i got mine thru silver ring thing... which is a nation wide program... never heard that you couldnt use just any ring tho... .... alot of things conserning purity rings i think depend on the person, and the area in which they live to how things are.... not really many set in stone rules concerning it.

Im going to answer them backwards, 3. I have a stirling silver ring, its and Irish one, with hands heart and crown, it may not be one, but it is to me. You could get a pruity ring at a local evangist store, or on line. Its a promis between you and God, and mine is just that. 2. I have heard they give it to their spouce, I have also been told they keep it and wear it still, to remain true to their spouce. 1. I agree with auddities, you don't have to throw it out. This is a promiss that you want to make. That you want to remain pure till your wedding night, then you can give it to your spouce, or keep wareing it to remain ture to you spouce.

ill mix it up
2. i don't think once your married and you have sex with your partner you should wear it but i do think you should keep it.
1. if you end up having sex before you are married you have broke the "rules" for lack of a better word of a purity therefore i think you should not continue to wear it because you have not kept this promise and it puts disgrace to the signification of the ring.
3. you can get a purity ring that means exactly that like one of my friends bought a purity ring from a christain store, but i also have a friends whos grandma gave her a ring and it was said to be a purity ring but it was not a specialy bought ring for that. Soooooo yea....
