Hey guys needing your help. I have a math problem Im having troubles understanding the directions are:
"Classify each of the following as a perfect-square trinomial, a difference of two squares, a polynomial having a common factor, or none of these."
the problem is
4t^2+9s^2+12st
and the answer in the back of the book says it is a perfect polynomial but I dont know how they got that any help understanding this would be awesome.

Hoo boy. I haven't had algebra in years...
Well, it's not a trinomial, because it doesn't have three variables or monomials. And it's not a difference of two squares because it has a piece of the equation with s and t together. ...That's about all I can tell you. Sorry...
