So, October's pretty much here. Halloween season! I know I'll be watching a slew of horror movies this year. I'm hoping for one per day, which would make it 30 + the premiere of The Walking Dead on the 31st. I'll of course, rewatch my favorite classics, but I also intend to watch at least 4 horror films that I haven't seen before.
What will YOU be watching this Halloween season?

Day 1: House Of 1000 Corpses
Haven't seen it before. I gotta say, I liked it a lot. Rob Zombie is one messed up director.

Guess it couldn't hurt to watch at least one per week.
I'm leaving Midnight Meat Train for the end of the month. If I don't go see My Soul To Take, that'll be my fallback for me and my bud.

Yeah, I'll see that one too. We'll see on what day.
EDIT: So, not long after House Of 1000 Corpses, I was flicking through channels, and I catch this random movie on TV. Now, it was the topless lady that caught my attention, but it turned out to be a pretty cool horror movie, so I'll mark that as Day 2, since it was after midnight anyway.
Day 2: Daughters Of Satan Made in 1972, it stars Tom Selleck. It's about like, witches and stuff. It was actually surprisingly eerie. I really enjoyed it. This kind of made me think about horror today though... And it got me thinking, maybe the reason horror isn't scary nowadays is because it's predictable, because we know HOW the movie makers of today think. What will sell... But since I'm not a big 1970's movie buff, I'm not as familiar with what would go on in the head of a 1970's director. Which, in turn makes the movie less predictable. I don't know how far they'll go, or where they'll go with their ideas.
In any case, if you want a really cool, freaky movie about witches, check it out. Daughters of Satan

I liked House of 1000 Corpses more than the Devil Rejects somehow.
I wanna catch Case 39 and My Soul To Take in theaters.

My dad saw Case 39 yesterday. He said it didn't look nearly as good as the Trailer, which I don't know if it means anything or not. He's not.... a deep-thinker. So there's a chance he may have missed some overall greatness, but I'll have to see it myself before I either confirm or deny it.
I also look forward to seeing My Soul to Take (which I actually think is an action from the trailers) and Let Me In. Or am I mixing em up? I dunno. One's about a little girl vampire and the other is an action. So yeah....
Oh and, I know comedies don't belong here in the "horror" guild, but I wanna see Devil. The movie about a buncha people trapped in an elevator being tortured by a demon.

Let Me In looks good and I hear it's just as good as the original. I'm hoping to see that this week.
My Soul To Take is totally horror. Atleast thats what I got from the tv spots.
And Devil is based on a story by M. Night Shyamalan. Even more hilarious.

Devil actually looked pretty awesome in the trailers. I heard it sucked, but still, it looked like a legitimately good horror film.
I wanna see if I can find, "The Human Centipede" somewhere. It's supposed to be really gruesome.

The Human Centipede: A movie about people going mouth to as* to mouth to as* to mouth to as*. Hot stuff. The porno version being made, called The Human Sexipede, looks even hotter...And stuffier.

I think I'll watch some more old school horror this month. Like, the old Boris Karloff's Frankenstein, and Nosferatu and such.

I probably won't watch anything, but I'm going to play some games.
Currently planning on Clock Tower with an English patch. I have it on my modded xbox and got around halfway through the game with Japanese, but I got stuck which I probably wouldn't be if I knew what was being said. razz
Any recommendations for games?
