The wind broke from over the hills and Charlotte stood against the breeze, taking in the fresh air. It was rare for her to be resting like this, as active as she is. However she seemed to enjoy it after trekking through the small valley to the uneven meadow.
After a few breathes she stretched her body on the soft grass. It had a sweet smell to it, as if the meadow was full of nectar bearing flowers. With a quick rest her body would normally be fully rested, but Charlotte seemed very taken to sloth today especially with such a pleasant environment. She sighed in content as she once again laid her body down.

Peeking out of the small patches of grass was a small white figure. Small incoherent scribbling written all ofer him as he gently padded out into the open. Looking around cautiously, he smiled softly as he shyly approached the other figure out there lying on the grass. "Hi...." he whispered softly as he approached close enough.

Have almost fallen asleep, Charlotte cracked an eye open at the sound of a quiet greeting. Then with no warning as she had been peacefully resting, she plopped up onto her feet within a second and stood before the greeter, only inches away from his body.
She stood there, patiently waiting for nothing. "Hello!" She shouted out to the lock, unaware of the volume of her voice. "It's nice to meet you! My name is Charlotte! What's your name!?"

"EEP!" he fell back as she suddenly stood up and shouted in his face suddenly. "Owww....so loud...." he groaned as he laid back a bit on the ground before sitting up to look at her. "Shuuske." he replied with a soft smile.

Charlotte stumbled back as the lock yelled out. She gave him a warm smile as she helped him back up again. "Hello! It's nice to meetcha, Spunky! What brings you here?"

"I'm Shuuske." he replied with a soft smile as he was helped up. "and thank you." he replied with a smile and purr. "I come here every now and then..."

"You're very welcome Shuuske!" She looked at the lock, processing the answer that barely answered anything. "I see, I see! I come here quiet often too, though mostly from the valley- have you ever rock climbed there? It really gets the blood pumping."

"Oh you should!" Charlotte said with a gleeful smile. She twirled in excitement at the thought. It made her want to go back to the valley and climb to the top again! The view was amazing, a perfect thing to see after a hard day's work!
"Well, what do you want to? You came here through the valley right? Or are you from somewhere else... Either way, since the valley is visable from here, you can lead the way and we can go rock climbing together if you want!" Charlotte said to the timid rabbit.

"I...I'm not really a good climber." he replied to her with a soft blush, gently making circles on the ground with his foot as he looked down at the rather athletic one.

"Oh." Charlotte looked stumped. She tapped the ground with her feet and thought as she looked up. That was something that she hadn't been expecting.
"Silly me! I didn't even bother to think about that! I'm sure you're better than you think!" She gave him a warm smile and saw that Shuuske was looking at his feet. "We can go on the easier paths to build up your confidence and then we can take the fun trails when you're ready!"
Oops! "Uhh, I meant the harder trails, all of them are fun!" She gave an embarrassed laugh. Hope he didn't put too much thought into that.

Shuuske smiled and nodded gently. "Sounds like fun." he cooed softly with a smile. Guess there was a learning curve into this sort of thing. Well, better than just jumping the gun with this person.

"Ok! Great!" Charlotte yelled out as she twirled in place. "I'll lead the way!"
Within seconds she was several meters away and counting, running towards the mouth of the valley so that they could climb the towering sides. Charlotte didn't look back until she had reached the mouth and was two steps into the first hiking trail. She gave a stretch and looked back; expecting Shuuske to be right behind her despite the fact that he didn't appear to be a runner.

He was no athlete, sure of that. He tried to catch up, only to flop rather tired down a feet or two behind her. "wow...you're.....fast......" he panted in between words, face down on the grass as he tried to regain breath from running that fast. sitting up again, the dirty brown of the soil stained his white and part of the light blue and black notes on his fur.
