Jetta had decided to finally give up staying away from the valley, she wasn't exactly one for wanting attention or being around people, to her, being a loner was much more fun but she had finally decided to go out for once and see what was happening, she just hated the fact that others stared at her, good or bad, she just hated attention and all because of her damn wings, did she like her wings? Of course, she accepted everything about herself and she did find them pretty but she just hated the fact that everyone else would stare at them. Jetta made her way towards a tree at the back of the valley, a place where not so many ponys were sitting or standing around talking, a couple looked at her which made her shy away a little but she ignored them and carried on towards the tree, laying down when she got to it and took the bag off from around her shoulders and took out a block of chocolate and broke a peice off, nibbling at it, at least she brought a snack, she didn't want to get up and go hunt for one later so at least she came prepared with that.

However, looking through her bag, made her realise she had fogotten her book, the one thing she wanted to do was to get further in it and she left it at home, oh well, maybe just pony watching wouldn't be too bad? She grabed the blanket out of her bag and threw it over her wings, making sure they were completely covered, the least people looked the better, her wings can stay hidden whilst she was out.

Jetta finished the piece of chocolate she was eating and swollowed as she looked up at the new commer "hi and im just getting over a cold, still should keep warm and all of that" she said, a blatant lie, something she thought would end up backfiring on her given she wasn't warmly dressed but hey, it saves explaing about her wings, the less he knew the better, at least for the time being anyway "so, do you always make it your bussiness to get into other peoples business or am I just the lucky one?" She asked as she offered him some chocolate.

Jetta rolled her eyes at the compliment "oh look, a guy whos being fresh, keep up with the lame pick up lines and I will leave you right here and now" she said, having come across his types before amd yes, it was true, Jetta never got out but when she did and when she came across the nice ponys, or so she thought, half the time the males ended up being like this guy, though a compliment or two would win her over, too bad she wasn't that easily taken in. "Snd yes, I am far off from the others, and with good reason, I don't like company, a loner by nature and thats how I like to keep it but not only that I was intending on reading but I seem to have left my book at home" she said with a sigh, what she said was partly truth and partly not, oh well, it doesn't matter, after todays meeding she probably wont see this guy again.

"It's alright, I guess since I am not exactly a social butterfly my social skills lack a bit, I apologise" she said to the other, hating how her social skills were terrible but what could she do? She prefered being alone which meant her social skills were terrible "and children...?" This frightened her, regardless wether they were adults or not, if anyone called someone else 'mom' or 'dad' or whatever, she didn't want to get to know them, it was a terrible thing to want but she did, she never wanted kids, she never wanted to be responsable for the lives of others, regardless wether she had help or not, due to an accident in her past it was partly why but also, in general, kids just scared her. "Thank you but it's fine" she said shaking her head "I can handle staying here without my book" she said knowing that if she moved theblanket would have to be placed back into her bag and well...she wasn't in the mood to letting the other see her wings and besides she was nice and comy where she was now "how to talk to woman? For a start, it is nice to compliment a woman but I suggest waiting for a bit, talk to her a little, build up to it, saying it right out only works on some woman on others, like me, they will think of it as some sort of pick up line and will hate you for it but if you build up to it by getting into a conversation first and then, if the time arises, you can compliment her, its all about timing really" she said as she broke off another bit ofchocolate and nibbledon it, offering him the chocolate once more.

"Well, yes, I guess it is now time you had a life of your own, at least your kids are now no longer a handfull" she said smiling at him, wanting to at least humor him, she was at least polite enough to make sure she didn't offend him, she knew her manners at least and telling the guy that you wanted to just run away and hide from him and his children, adults or not, wasn't a good thing to do. "Thank you and I hope I would, I my be a loner but I do still have some social skills even if they are bad...of course there is also the fact that internet can help alot" she said, having read many forum sites and the like on how to talk to the opposite sex "and you are right but im still not 100%, I would rather play it safe then sorry" alright, she COULD give up on this whole lie bit but she wasn't going to, at least not now, at least to not some stranger she met five minutes ago, how would she know he wouldnt ridcule her? More people have then not and she wasn't about to to take that chance to find out if he was another one so till further notice, the blanket stays.

Jetta nodded "sure, I would like that" she said as she pulled a clip out of her bag, something she always carried and something Eternity made for her, it wasn't magical exactly but it was stylish and in the shape of a full moon, the white/silver going nicely with her body color/outfit "and thank you" she said, glad he wasn't going to push the subject more and fastened the clip around the blanket that was losely sitting on the ground under her chin. "Shall we go?" She said as she put the chocolate in her bag and placed the bag around her shoulders once more and got up, making sure the blanket wasalright, it sat up off the ground so as to not get dirty or have her trip over it and yet long enough to make sure her wings were completely hidden "where would you like to go?" She asked, wondering if he had somewhere in mind, to her, there was a nice clearing Raven created that she wouldn't mind going off to be she knew it was goo to play nicely so she had to stick it out and, even if she would never admit it to anyone, looking the other over, had made her realise he was cute.

"Well there is but it is away from the public eye" she said looking over to the woods where the clearing was hidden "so where I want to go wouldn't really be much of 'showing you around' which doesn't exactly seem good since you are a new commer here so..." she said, hating what she was about to say "...why don't we take a walk around the lake?" She shuddered a little, it was a popular meeting place, ALOT of ponys went there, why did she have to pick something so public? Jetta sighed and smiled at him. "And I would like that, thank you, it would be interesting to see how the other lived" she said sincerly, having not travled far from Dream Valley for obvious reasons, she never did get out even though she was interested greatly in wanting to go other places then just living on the outskirts of Dream Valley.

Jetta started walking towards the lake, she was dreading this greatly but she carried on, wanting to just act as calm as possible, this was nothing, this was normal, walking around a lake would be fine right? That was the least of her problems, thinking it would be fine was nothing, when they had gotten about a quater of the way towards the lake Jetta found a couple of ponys hanging around, ponys she had dealt with before when she had forgotten some sort of cover, they were nightmare ponys so she knew they wern't great to listen to anyway but still, given she wasn't a fighter their words just seemed harsher then usual, the leader of the group was a pegasus.

"Hey look guys" the pegasus started to call out "its that freak show, the fairy who can't fly, why are you covering your wings love? Trying to hide the deformity of them? Given how they are mere decorations, you should just find a way to get rid of them, even decorations lose their beauty after a while and since you didn't have any to begin with...well." The pony scoffed as his friends laughed and another took over the jeering "oh come on, Styx, it isn't her fault shes got such ugly decorations for...what were they called again? Wings? We should be blaming the parents, they must have been ugly themselves to produce such a pony with whos wings are something that belonged in a circus" he scoffed, laughter ringing out once again.

Jetta shyed away, ignoring them, at least when the first one started but when the other commented on her parents she ignored what she was trying to do and started to cry, her parents having been a really sensitive subject to her for years, her wings were just an extra bit of humiliation to ' sprinkle' on top of an already sensitive subject and she turned around and started back towards the forrest "im sorry, i have to go" she called back to the other she was with, running as fast as she could, wanting to find sanctuary in the clearing right now was all that she cared about, she knew it would be wrong to go out in public, now she was sure that in future, listening to her gut was better then trying to please some new commer to the valley.

"Yes, go on, go back to where you came from freak!" The one called Styx called out, laughing with his friends once more.

Jetta was too upset to pay attention to them so when she reached the forrest she made a bee line straight towards the clearing, saying the word to open it she watched the trees and shrubs move away letting her into the beautiful clearing which Jetta stepped inside and let the foliage close the the entrance to said clearing and she just moved to the middle, laid down and she just stayed there, trying to calm herself down but not really caring about wether she did or not, she was out of there, that was all that mattered.
