♦Uses of the Accusative Case
1. The Accusative Case is used with the direct object of a sentence.
•Examples: Der Briefträger hat einen Brief. The mailman has a letter.
Die Frau und der Junge haben keine Äpfel. The woman and the boy have no apples.
2. The Accusative Case is used with the Accusative prepositions.
•Example: Sie läuft durch die Straße. She runs through the street.
