There are two groups at Bloodbath academy-the Day Class and the Night Class. What seperates the Day Class from the Night Class is that the Night Class is made of vampires seeking a way to make vampires and humans live together in harmony. There are half-bloods {humans who were bitten by purebloods} and pure-bloods {born vampires}. If a halfblood bites a human, they will not turn into a vampire. A pureblood has to bite them.
There are two guardians from each class. The one from the Day Class is female, and the other from the Night Class is male. However, the girl doesn't know he is a half-blood vampire because she has a hatred for the "blood suckers" for their crimes against humans. But regardless of their races, the two do not get along.
The girl is a classic "A" type, and the Night Class guardian is rather juvinile-a bad boy. But this "bad boy" has feelings for his fellow guardian. Deep down, he truly loves her, and he'd do anything to keep her safe from the other vampires, especially those blood-thirsty pure-bloods. The girl is just so sweet and loving, this makes her blood partically attractive to vampires. However, this is a problem for him as well...he doesn't like to feed, and the girl's blood is more than a little tempting to him.
The girl does her best to protect the Academy and keep things in order while the boy doesn't care. The only reason he is a guardian is because the Dean is his father. He usually spends his time in the horse stable, with his favorite horse Lilly, whom he sleeps next to whenever he is stressed.
She has feelings for the half-blood as well, though she doesn't realize it, and doesn't understand why her heart races whenever he's around. She tries to help him in school, and keeps telling him that as guardians, they should try and set an example, not that he cares. However, she trusts him with her life, but only because the Dean is his father, and she doesn't realize he's a vampire.
It is the Guardians' jobs to make sure the Switch-Over, which starts at dusk, and keep the Day Class students from discovering there are vampires at the Academy. They have to patrol the grounds every night and make sure there aren't any wondering humans {though the male guardian usually doesn't help the girl and hangs out at the stable} around, and if there are, make sure they aren't hurt and attract the Night Class students with their blood.
