A barren waste-land of sand and even more sand. The wind often makes sand storms blowing you away. This place sucks energy away so magic nor fire arms will do you good, so rely on your melee weapon cause you cant do crap here. This place also has sand worms, they come up and eat a person or two and go back down. Now if you some how survive all this, you may complain to the Captain of your team why fight here.
A barren wasteland of sand and even more sand. A cursed desert; magic energy and ranged attacks are sucked in by the desert, so only meelee weapons can be used efficiently here. This desert is also home to five meter long death worms, which spit out poison and eats travelers. Located southwest of the Haleuhya Mountains and northwest of the Forest of Dancing Sprites, it is one of the many obstacles preventing the Redcoats from reaching the Bluecoat Base.

With a brillent flash of light, Anna and Greg appeared suddenly. His arm still around her, he let go. The first thing that hit him was the heat, he slipped off his coat, and removed the liner that had kept them warm back in the cold. The liner disapperared in his hands, and he replaced his coat to his shoulders. "Welcome to the Dunes" he said to Anna,

Immediately Anna put the back of her hand to her forehead. "It's hot. And we forgot water." She said falling onto the hot sand. Anna ran her fingers through the sand, and sudden;y heard a loud noise. She looked up and noticed about a dozed trucks in the distance. "No...." She muttered and got to her feet. Anna glanced around, looking for a place to hide. But the delicate sand dunes could be blown away with a soft breeze.

Greg got down on one knee, his scythe in his hand. While looking at the trucks in the distance, his hand waved over the spot next to him. The sand started to darken, and a small spring began to form with clear water. "Get down low Anna." he instructed.

As soon as the water interrupted, it disappeared. Myra hopped out of the truck, wand at the ready. She spotted Greg and walked over. "What the hell Greg! You ditched us in mid-battle! Thanks to you, most of out troops are gone!" She yelled, the tip of her wand glowing brightly. "And who is this?!" She screamed, aiming her wand at Anna. "Your a traitor Greg. You probably spilled our secrets to this *S.O.B" She said and cast a spell on Greg, making him answer truthfully to anything she asked. "Did you tell her military secrets? Where did you take her? Why did you leave? Did you fall in love with her?" She asked sternly. She knew that if he was in love, he would be willing to do anything for her, including trading military secrets.
Anna gasped as the wand was aimed at her. Her face was bright red and she stepped backwards. "I, we uh..." She stuttered in shock. Myra was much more fierce that Lana had said.

The trucks were retreating from the Forest of Dancing Sprites. Zeno Angha sighed and jumped off, watching as Myra went over to interrogate Gregory. They had lost battle, but at least managed to capture Eric, the Red Army's second-in-command, and the three top officers of the Blue Army had survived. He rushed over to where Myra, Greg, and some Redcoat were. Whipping out his wand, he pointed at the girl. "I believe, Commander Myra, that we should send these two back to the capital for further questioning. No point in interrogating them while we have a battle to prepare for."

((continued from Forest of dancing sprites)) Rex looked over at Phoenix grateful that she took him but still didnt like being held. "Eee." he squeaked struggling softly. He tried his best not to hurt Phoenix but whipped his tail against her side as soft as he could without hurting her.

Vasilika hopped off on of the trucks and followed after Tyler to a spot that was close enough to eavesdrop on the commander and specialist. Oh Tyler.
Tyler walked over and watched the trucks come back from the forest. He had stayed towards the back of the mess with Vasilika, but he had a feeling she would be fighting in the next battle. He was listening to Myra repremand the specialist and some girl.

Greg glared. "You want answers Myra? I will tell you the absolute truth!" He turned his head to Anna. "I never told her anything. I got her out of that battle. She doesn't belong in this war! None of us Do!" He stared back at Myra. "Yeah. I did." He summoned his scythe, and stood at the ready. "This war is pointless commander! No matter what any of us do, we'll all die! Do you understand!? Nobody will win!" He paused, letting her take it all in. "And if you're as stubborn as you used to be, you'll never listen to reason"
((uh oh.....is the comamnder gonna take that from the specialist, a lower ranking officer?))

Zeno Angha's eyes narrowed. "Nevertheless, you deserted your post and disregarded proper procedure. Now, hold out your wrists." He pointed his wand at Greg with one hand while getting a pair of handcuffs with the other. "You, Gregory Hall, are charged with the following indictments: desertion, disrespect towards superiors, espionage, noncompliance with procedural rules, aiding the enemy, and espionage." He prepared to handcuff Greg and use force if necessary.

A flash of emotion crossed Myra's face as Greg said he loved Anna. She turned away. Myra's eyes narrowed, and turned back to Greg. Her hair was whipping around her face as a windless storm surged around her." I-" She was cut off as her wand went flying out of her hand. The girl stood before her, in front of Greg. " Step asi-" She was cut off once more.
"Greg didn't do anything!" She yelled biting her lip as soon as the words came out. "I-uh, held him at gun point, and told him to take me to Snowtown." She said, and a flash of emotion crossed her face as she remembered the glass rose.

((rofl, I jut noticed that! Maybe he was stressing the word...maybe? eek ))
Phoenix winced a little as the Raptor's tail hit her side, the wound was still pretty tender.
Vortex noticed it and growled low in her throat, but she stopped when the Lieutenant gave her a glare.
"It's alright Vortex." She said, then the girl turned to the Raptor. "Yes I know, you want to be let down, but if i do, I'm afraid someone might do something to you, so hold tight till I can get to my tent." She said, staring at the creature.
For some reason, it intrigued her; she had never seen any kind of technology this advanced including the mechas of the red army. But, it was expected from her enemy. When she was with them, scientists were working on something more complex and outrageous every day.

Rex looked back up at Phoenix and squeaked softly since he really wanted to be put down. "Eee." he squeaked again looking out into the dunes. He switched hhis visor to his sniper lense and zoomed in on what he saw. The only thing he could see were two small mounds of sand coming to the truck, and fast. "EEE!" he screamed struggling harder this time.
