Alright, so I'm gearing up for my trip to Cincinnati and after a friend on tumblr and twitter managed to meet the boys, I'm going to attempt as well. I'm bringing these http://twitpic.com/2vrfdmas well as a Golf For Dummies book and the hubby picked up a copy of Happy Gilmore for them. I will try to pass the books and dvd off to Tom and if I am indeed as close to the stage as I am hoping, I'll attempt to toss the socks on stage. I'll keep you guys updated!

Yeah, after all the driving I can't be arsed to post that up proper but there you go..
But Tom got the books and stuff to the boys, I watched him walk out of the venue onto the tour bus with Dom, Chris and Morgan, Matt and Kate had a separate bus.
So tired now, I'll get a good post and pictures up tomorrow hopefully.

Yeah, she's off and on with which one's she's at apparently. When I met Tom I was literally 20 feet from her but I only had eyes for Kirk. Wonderful wonderful man. I did see Kate wander back and forth from the tour buses with Matt sometimes in tow. She sat in the sound booth with Kirk during the concert, while he worked and jammed out. I was too far away to see her clearly to tell if she was enjoying but I glanced over a few times to see Kirk working away and rocking out with the best of them. So adorable. heart

Oh oh oh! another photo surfaced! One of the girls I was with didn't come down to talk to Tom but she did take a photo of myself and superhero_boi chatting with him!

I had to increase the brightness and contrast severely cause the shot was so dark, hence why it's so grainy. But Tom is standing at the wall there and I'm just to his right.
I'm such a Tom fangirl, this man seriously rocks my socks. He likely thought I was strange cause I just couldn't figure out what to say to him aside from shaking his hand and smiling and thanking him. I think I babbled something along the lines of 'Thanks Tom for all you do, you're awesome. Good work!' or something like that.

Oh and it's really not unusual for there to be two or three songs in their encores. The only deviation I've seen from this format was with Nada Surf, they did a six song encore at the Hiro Ballroom when I saw them once.. they extended one song from 4 minutes into a huge, nearly 12 minute song.

No...we only got one encore in Philly. KoC. That was it.
And now, in eight days, my friend is seeing them in a show I easily could have gone to, but we didn't...so i'm in a positively sunny mood. D:

Hmmm.. I would have loved to see them in Philly, any excuse to go to the city really.. I've driven there for lunch once just for a cheesesteak. I would also love to be able to afford the Newark or Uniondale shows.. but alas, October has seen way too many events already.. baby showers and weddings and births and all that jazz..

Man.. now I want to go to South Street. That's where I chill mostly, or over in Chinatown for a bit, there's a shop there that has an upstairs that you have to ask to see, tons of pretty sharp things. I collect weaponry so yeah.. love it.
