"Alright, listen up. This here is Jackpalm City. Big commercial hub. Not as big as New York or the capital of Beyon, but definitely up there. Basic city: Residential Suburbs surrounding the Urban business zones. A couple of canals here and there, sewers, et cetera. Only one water source in, and only one out. Remember that.

"A couple hours ago, we received a request for deployment from the National Government of Archyln, the nation in which Jackpalm rests. As it turns out... the place has been overrun by zombies. Full-Fledged undead, killed and reanimated by some serum, which is transmitted through blood. Reanimation can be ceased by severing communications between body and brain. Fire is also effective. Zombies. Plain and Simple Zombies.

"Except, instead of just being lumbering bastards, they're quick and violent. Some are just undead, others are massive, ornery juggernauts, and others still are silent, "opportune moment" stalkers. We're lucky that they can't use weapons worth jack, or else we'd probably be f*cked over if we tried this.

"Now, the Archylians have supplied us with every bit of information we could ask for. They've also supplied us with a pill-based antiserum. I'll pass out the pills while I talk. It's designed to negate the effects of the serum, so we can't go zombie. Injuries are still injuries, though. Remember that.

"Our mission is multi-pronged. Our primary objective is the elimination of the CEO's of the PHRYCE corporation, who created the serum. We can expect them to have a method of controlling the zombies, and it's smart to think they may each have combat abilities. We don't know their location, or how they may still be alive, though if anything, it would be the control method over their reanimated friends.

Our secondary objectives include Elimination of the Enemy, Search and Rescue of those still on their first life, and recovery of any cure."

"I thought the antiserum WAS the cure..."

"No, it's just a preventative. It won't do anything for someone once they're infected.

"Now, here's the kicker: we only have 36 hours. If we can find a cure first, we might be able to extend that, to allow time to distribute it somehow. Otherwise, sh*t's going nuclear. Get it?

"We'll be getting in via Drop Pods, four to a pod. We're getting out by hovership, plenty of room for all. Pay is good, no limits on combat methods. Anyone who wants in needs to report to the hangar, bay 12, at 0700. Bring full combat gear. Dismissed.
