News and Updates
Gaia's being retarded, so when browsing, pay no attention the first Roster post. Gaia won't let me edit or delete it, so I made a second, updated list of entrants. It's title will be in orange.
Saturday, October 16, 2010: Open for registration!
Monday, October 25, 2010: Deadline extended to November 14th.
Thursday, October 28, 2010: Deadline extended to November 30th.
Tuesday, November 30, 2010: Deadline extended to December 3rd, due to inconveniences.

What is the Rainbow Tournament? The rainbow tournament is a tournament (obviously), where, each member of your team must be a different color. Basically, you got to have a different Pokemon from each different color category (well, six of them) and you can not use two of the same colors. You can look at your Pokedex to verify your Pokemon's color (considering Arcanine is not a red or orange Pokemon apparently). If you can't, I will provide a list with all NU, UU, BL, and OU Pokemon under their proper colors.

Rules and Registration # There is NO tolerance for hacked and/or modified Pokemon. # Battles will be held at Level 100 Single # Teams may not be modified after the tournament has begun. However, you may switch the order of the Pokemon at any time. # Sleep Clause is on. # Self-KO Clause is on. # Evasion Clause is on. # OHKO Clause is on. # Species Clause is on. # Item Clause is off. The few exceptions will be listed below. # Fixed Damage moves are allowed. # Teams must be ready to battle by (not yet decided) # There is a max of only three Pokemon allowed from each Tier, and please try to avoid teams of three OU and three BL. # You have one week from the posting of the roster to complete your first battle, after that the player who has been most active will receive the victory, And so on throughout the rounds. In order to register, you must pay an entry fee of 2500 gold to me (don't worry, I won't spend it. Trust me), and send me a PM with your friend code, team roster, and which color and tier each Pokemon is. This will be a 16 person tournament. Prizes include 50% of total allocated gold to winner and 25% of total allocated gold to second place. I may include more once I think some up. Deadline for registration will be Friday, December 3rd, 2010

Clauses Explanation Sleep ClauseWhen this clause is on, two or more Pokémon on a team cannot be asleep at the same time. Self-induced sleep via Rest does not activate Sleep Clause. This clause is on in this tournament. Self-KO ClauseWhen this clause is on, if both players have only one Pokémon left, moves which KO both the user and the opponent are not allowed (e.g. Explosion, Destiny Bond). If recoil damage would cause a tie, Self KO Clause does not activate, and the player who last attacked is the winner. This clause is on in this tournament. Evasion ClauseWhen this clause is on, moves that boost evasion (i.e. Double Team and Minimize) are not allowed. This clause is on in this tournament. OHKO ClauseWhen this clause is on, one-Hit KO moves are not allowed. This clause is on in this tournament. Species ClauseWhen this clause is on, two or more of the same Pokémon may not be used on the same team. This clause is on in this tournament. Item ClauseWhen this clause is on, all Pokémon on a team must hold different items. This is not a standard clause in competitive play, but it is used in Nintendo tournaments.
