Something I wrote in yr 11 in 25 minutes cause I was bored and had a computer in front of me.

The explosion rocked the earth of the Naz’garath colony stationed on Mar Sara. Kazansky quickly got the tanks to fire the 90mm artillery shells from their siege positions. The very few Protoss forces that were spare stayed back, waiting for orders. The marines and firebats were shouting quick orders to their buddies, holding back the zergling attack wave from Daggoth. Kazansky flew his wraith, over the forces, scanning the area for a quick tactical strike from some vultures and goliaths. He just hoped they would be able to hold until the Sons of Korhal could get here. Just one more hour until the fleet arrives.

The explosion, launched from the Command centre nuke add-on, was activated by one of Kazansky’s “ghost” units. Although the Zerg had killed the ghost, the aiming sequence had already been done, taking 10 seconds just to launch a small tactical nuke. A few sunken and spore colonies had been destroyed in the process, as well as taking out a few hydralisk, and luckily, an ultralisk. Unfortunately, the massive living building, the Lair, had just managed to survive.

Kazansky was firing his burst laser at the zerglings, laughing as they exploded into little smithereens. Then he saw the wave of scourges, the Zerg’s idea of anti-air, coming towards him. He quickly cloaked, draining most of his Wraith’s energy, but also becoming invisible at the same time. He only just might make it back without an overlord detecting him. If that happened, he would not make it back in time to be repaired by the SCV’s. Finally, after a few heart pounding minutes, he got back to base. Just in time to see the northeast wall starting to fall against the constant waves of zergling and hydralisk attacks.

Daggoth finally saw that he would need to take drastic measures. As the Cerebrate summoned all his forces, he knew that he would need to send in his heavy air units. So he sent the guardian and mutalisk forces to bring down the Terran colony once and for all. Too long had he let them build up a force… A joke he first thought, an insane joke to try and take out one of the main Overmind’s leading cerebrate. But now, that joke had been taken too far. After sending out the heavy air units, he sent in a few lurkers and overlords to take out the fleeing forces. Laughing to himself, he retreated into his mind, letting just the faintest thought control his underlings on Mar Sara.

Kazansky could hear the screams of the recon units he had sent out earlier. The report has mentioned that Zerg forces had just come out of nowhere, and were now heading their way. Kazansky knew this might have happened. If only Warbringer had listened to him in the first place. Finally, admitting defeat, he told his forces that the battle was almost over, and they should press forward, for the Zerg base was almost destroyed. Might as well give them hope when there was none left. At least they would go down fighting, or, as the Protoss would put it, a glorious warrior’s death. The zerg started flying towards them, screaming for their prey’s blood. The marines just couldn’t hold the perimeter, and they screamed as they were engulfed by the endless swarm. Kazansky’s ship exploded as the scourges plowed into his hull, and the mutalisk’s fired their glave wurm into his ship. It seemed the zerg had swallowed the Terran base whole, and then there was just darkness.
He punched the screen, “s**t! I lost again” he shouted, his voice reverberating throughout the room. “This level is just impossible, they attack too quickly!”. Green pixels streamed across the screen, giving the effect of letters and words. “Nah, you just suck man, you just can’t micro. Face it, I’m better than you, and that’s why I’m in the high scores, and your not.” He inserted another coin when the game asked him to. “I’m just gonna use the level codes to get to that level again. I swear, if it takes my whole life to beat that game, I’m going to do it.” The usual startup screen appeared, and when he entered the cockpit of his wraith, the same old data flashed on the screen.
