Hufflepuffs are supposed to be extremely loyal people. I was just wondering, how would you define "loyalty"?

Staying true to friends, not lying (unless you haveta), keeping promises yeah

Loyalty...keeping promises, defending people/things you believe in, serving the best interest of you friends (whether they know what's good for them or not), and Having faith in you friends.

Keeping promises, being beside those you care for, not gossiping (guilty gonk xd ) keeping truthfull to anything and everything, being honest.

I basically agree with everything everyone else said.
Loyalty is being true to your friends, family, and even to yourself. Its all about trust.

Loyalty;
Loyalty is the very core of my being,
It is dedication and a deep conviction
against betrayal of any form, from
actual physically handing over a freind
to his enemy all the way down to just
simple gossip.
Loyalty involves a passion so deep
that personal life doesn't matter,
Our founding fathers for example
were loyal to the idea of a nation
founded on freedom and justice.
They risked EVERYTHING for what
they saw right, Loyal even in the face of
execution, every single one of those
men, the day they met on July 4th...
could have been arrested and hung
if found with that document they were
creating.
Loyalty is an unshakable dedication to a
cause or person that allows little to go by
without speaking up.
Dartannon in 3 musketeers ... when he became
King Louie's personal protector in the
man in the iron mask, He stuck by his
young king however much he thought
the kid was a fool. He dared not even
speak Ill of young Louie though he
knew that what his freinds said was true.
Dartannon denied his own convictions about
Louie and stuck by his side no matter what.
Even putting his heroes aside, the men he
had so long grew up admiring.
Thats what Loyalty is, It is sacrifice!
Fellow Hufflepuffs,
The world could not live without us,
For we are the soldiers, we are the peace
makers, the local police, we are the servants.
For with Loyalty comes Bravery.
Loyalists are far from cowards and neither
Slytherin or Gryffindor can do what we do.
We are what keep the world from falling
apart, Hufflepuffs do not ever let thier
mockery put you down! We need to step
up and show this school that Huffle puff
is the house that will keep the world from
falling apart!!!
MEN AND WOMEN OF HUFFLEPUFF, TIME TO LET YOUR
LIGHT SHINE!
Raise our gold color high and be proud of
those black stripes, for they represent
the sacrifice we gladly make for what
we are grounded on!
