After all, they were talking about birth by sleep and another KH game but that was awhile ago, lets hope that Square Enix is getting off their butts and making a second one. I'm not calling them lazy, we just need less Kingdom Hearts, we need more The World Ends With You. D:>

They just have the right funds to do that soon. Sponsors are investing in KH and FF since it's been doing so well as TWEWY has remained a bit 2nd rate.

They just have or they they just don't have? If they had advertised on it better, it likely would have sold much more then it has, maybe if they found a way to advertise around, more people would have bought it like KH and FF, I bet it would do better with it's unique style though. Maybe if they get around to it, the second will have the first one in it or something maybe as a secondary game in the case. Or perhaps they'd advertise the second one and start mass selling the first one or something like that. D:

If you actually look at the stats, most DS games are BOUGHT by the younger populace, ranging from 7 to 12. Also, it tends to be parents to buy and approve of the games, and if you look at the art, it's quite dark, and I doubt any parent would allow their child to have the game. In the ROM community, games tend to be spread by word of mouth and any reviews, which people rarely actually take the time to read fully. Also, on the topic of funding, they actually have the funds to make it if they could, but due to the interests of the major investors and the commercial movements of TWEWY, it is less likely that a sequel will be released before another KH or FF is released.

What do you mean by "I doubt any parent would allow their child to have the game."? If your referring to "the younger populace" in that statement then yeah that would obviously take a hit. But if Square Enix does it, it's hinted that their interested in the wii this time not the DS,which may increase their sales for it in the future. Your probably right about the chances of a sequel being made before another KH and FF to be very slim at best.

But even then, as much as I'd like a new game to come out, I doubt it'll do much good on the Wii. Just in gameplay, with breaking signals between the remote and Wii motions-wise in other games, I have a feeling I'm going to get frustrated with it IF it's a heavy focus on specific and concentrated movements. But either way, still looking forward to it if it does progress.

I can totally see that happening to me xD Novice as I am with the whole concept of the Wii (only played it a handful of times), I would definitely have problems using psychs if movement had to be precise. At the same time, I wouldn't want such odd movements that I look like a boxer every time I'm fighting Noise. Who knows what SE will do to solve this, but whatever they think of, it'll probably be nice coming from them.

With the movements, I was thinking that it'd be same as with the DS version (e.g. Slash Neku, Press target, etc.), but with any precision issues, it could become a problem. On Arc's note, if it is adapted to a first-person view, that would be very weird. If it does, I' thinking it'll turn into a turn-based game?

I'd really hate first-person view, and I didn't even realize that was what I had been saying earlier. I got nothing against turn-based games, but I hope the gameplay doesn't change that much, just improved from the first one. Perhaps movement could be the Neku of TWEWY 2, and the buttons can be used for the Shiki/Joshua/Beat character of TWEWY 2.

The wii can be annoying as heck sometimes, remember Drawn to life 2? the wii ruined it for me. I hope that it won't be like that for this game is all. I doubt SE will screw it up like that though.
