I'm in eighth grade, and already totally done with my grade school.
I am SO ready to be done, which might be because I am completely and perpetually BORED in class (i am in the 'higher' level classes, still getting straight A's, all that crap, without paying attention.) The people in my class are troublemakers, which i dont mind, but still.. anyways, because of them, we had to write a 5 paragraph essay evaluating our behavior. first sentences point blank stated I was bored in class, and because of that I got talkative and didn't pay attention. My teacher is a sweet lady, but she has no back bone to whip the other kids in shape. She told me she would give me other books to read, and try to challenge me. I am an avid reader, so that works with me.
But still, in other classes, i have nothing to do. I am bored out of my mind. I have absolutely no motivation.
HELPPPPPP! Any suggestion, anyone feel for me here?

That's how I was. I went on Home study. It's nice, you get teachers you can see anytime. They work with you individually. You get to work on your own time/ pace. If something is to easy, you can skip it. You don't have to put up with other's s**t. It's nice.

You can't do that in highschool. You loose credits after so many days.

We don't have middle school here. So even though I'm in year 9, thats part of high school. Year 9 is pretty chill here, but once I get into year 10, I hear it gets much harder. So hopefully that'll happen with you. smile Then you'd be too busy trying to get work done to be bored!

Year 10 is much more difficult seeing as my brother just did his school certificate.
But yeah, I feel exactly the same. Everything we're doing in class is boring. In Science we're studying exactly the same thing we did two terms ago, I have two teachers for English and it's been really complicated all year and the only subject I actually feel active in is Drama. I think it's just end of year blues. there are more wonders in this universe then you could ever have dreamed of.
