Jedi Ranks
Padawan 3rd-Starting rank for all Lightside Jedi who join.
Padawan 2nd-Rank of Padawan who has undergone some training in the force as well as in lightsaber combat. (must have mastered basic lightsaber dueling and core force powers Grip, Push, Pull and Sense)
Padawan 1st-Rank of Padawan who has undergone moderate training in lightsaber combat and who has mastered core force abilities listed above
Knight 3rd-Jedi Knight with moderate training in force abilities and lightsaber combat. Must have succeeded in passing the Jedi Trials. May begin taking missions solo. Must have mastered core force abilities plus two additional force powers of the jedi's choosing.
Knight 2nd-Knight with extensive training in lightsaber combat plus mastery of core force abilities and at least two additional force powers of the jedi's choosing.
Knight 1st-Jedi Knight with extensive lightsaber combat training and mastery of core force powers plus a minimum of 5 additional force powers of the jedi's choosing.
Jedi Master-Must have mastered the style of your choosing in lightsaber combat and have mastered core force powers plus an additional 8 force powers of the jedi's choosing. Must be majority elected by the members of the current council of the Masters to ascend to this rank.
