To those who have played be it import or ROM.
I've played a good bit of it, and i really like it :)
And I am curious as to what all of ya'lls thoughts are.

Is it fun?
Did it live up to your expectations?
Or are you disappoint?

If you havent yet played,
are you excite?

I'm disapointed and impressed at the same time

The graphics are much better than any of the other games, and the story line and plot is good.

But what realy disapoints me in B/W is the Pokemon... Half of them I see, just look like bad, knock of versions of Pokemon in other generations.

None of them look completely "new".

And that's all I have to realy say about it. c:

I was also very impressed by the graphics in the games.
Its so crazy having seen this series grow to what it is today heart
And about the pokemon, yeah I am also a little disappointed in some of the pokemon.
But it is a bit hard to make something completely fresh.
I mean there are only so many animals that you can remake XD

While I do believe that Black is fun, and lived up to my expectations for the series, I feel that many Pokemon are beginning to become generic and predictable, something that I did not notice during earlier games. I understand why this is occurring (you can't have a series be around for as long as Pokemon and continue making totally unique creatures), but I still find it a little weird. Other than that, I'm finding the game very enjoyable and I enjoy all the new innovations in the game.

Its interesting enough to keep me playing, even if the story line is the same with a few minor alterations. I do like the online feature with the Dream World. I can't say that I'm a fan of some of the music (just the wild encounters). Even though we're given a completely new batch of Pokemon, I didn't think there was much variety. Though when compared to previous generations it evens out to be the same. I guess it's just my overall preference of the Pokemon between now and other generations. I felt as though certain types were lacking, but there was more of an effort to create new dual types than singular types.

Black and White may have not done much to get really hyped for this game when it was released for me, but once I played it, the drive to complete my goals in the game and have fun was more than enough to play this game. The fact that I bought at least one version before the other and I played the heck of it somewhat proves that I'm still faithful of the franchise, the video games at least.

And thanks to a few new additions to the games, it's more fun to dish out some damage to other players and intresting to continue to add more pokemon to the pokedex and such and what I have to do to have them. I'm a bit surprised they changed things up a little bit with the story, and that anytime I could catch the trademark legendary pokemon of the game. Although I find it a bit annoyed that i find out that I have to face the elite four twice to become the official champion. Well no matter, I've faced Elite Four before to level up my pokemon after I beat them the first time around.

The game is still fun though and it amazes me plenty with how they presented their cities, towns, and a few more details

I think it exceeded my expectations. c:

The graphics are amazing. The only thing that disappointed me a bit was how pixelated some of the pokémon looked, especially from the back. A good example would be Serperior. Some of the pokémon really look like paper cutouts. xd

I love the pokémon. Yes, even though a lot of them are knockoffs of previous generation pokémon and animals, I still love them. It was so exciting to go through the game and see all the new pokémon, one by one. The only one I had a downright negative reaction to was Heatmor. >m<

I was completely amazed by the sheer number of pokémon I could catch in the wild compared to previous generations. There were only a very, very small number of pokémon I had to level up to get their post-evolutions forms.

I can't complain about types too much. Even the type I wish I had more options for (Fire) has fifteen entries in the Pokédex, including evolutions, starters, and legendaries. Not bad for a 156 entry Pokédex.

As for the plot, well, it kept me entertained, although I wasn't a huge fan of the whole "melting pot of opinions is what makes the world go 'round" gobbledygook being proposed. I liked Bianca and Cheren despite them constantly nagging me for battles, but truth be told N was my favorite since his talk with Prof. Juniper in the middle of the game. <3

I haven't played it but I'm excited. I've already watch some walkthroughs on YouTube, though. I liked the plot/story breakthrough, but I don't really like some new Pokemons, as they're like rip-offs of previous Pokemons. Also, while I was reading the Gym Leaders and Elite Four pages on Serebii.net, their sprites are weird, especially their hair... xp

GameFreak has been ripping off previous generations of pokémon since G/S came out over a decade ago. It's pretty much a fact that they have a formula, and they're sticking to it. I think some people are just mad about it now because GameFreak actually had the gall to replace all the previous pokémon with the this generation's for the good part of the game.

So I've loved the game, I really did. It wasn't a big grindfest, it nicely helped you along the story and levels and you got to catch DA LEGENDARY and fight the 'big evil'. All nice and dandy.

And then there's the post-game. I was really excited. 3 cities left to explore? Lots of other little things to do? YAY! So much end-game content! ...Why is everyone suddenly level 65? WHAT THE FUUUU- *dead*

Yeah, that really dampened my mood. I don't understand why they did that. Whoever thought that was their idea of 'fun', please go stand upsidedown in horsepoo and think about it.

*sigh* Back to grinding Audino's. T.T

I haven't play Black much lately...I'm still ticked that pokemon.com won't send me my account activation e-mail so I can get into Dream World.

I'm not even going to get to play Befriend a Pokémon at this rate. crying

Bleh: Never mind. I made another account using the name Jane Doe and using a different e-mail address. They sent it right to my hotmail address, but not gmail, no. mad

It's not bad. Some of the Pokemon are really, really ugly though. xp
