Well we have some weird going ons at my house... ( and it has really picked up recently XD))
Anyways this is just going to be a list of stuff that has happened that is just plain weird....
Well first i will start with what has actually happened to me...
I was getting home from school one day and i put my backpack down and looked up in the mirror across from my bed and i saw my grandmother setting on the top...
I had a dream one night of my grandmother talking to me on the bottom of the bed and when i woke up the next morning I saw her get up walk to the door open it walk out and close it. (and yes the door physically opened and closed)
Up in our field there is a pair of trees and there is a post light in our neighbors yard and if you watch it you can see a human shaped shadow run across the light.
Our house was built on land that apparently was used during the civil war. When you set outside near the road you can hear heavy boots marching on the road...
I was in my bed one night trying to sleep when i heard the door open and it closed and then i heard footsteps coming to my bed. next thing I know the bed creaked like somebody had sat down on it...
Now those are only a few so post your own weird stories ^__^

My mom's house is not far from Gettysburg and it is along the route that was actually taken so we have a visitor also. He likes to open and close doors. So when I leave the room with my closet door open I will come back and it is closed. He has followed me down the hallway to my room and has actually stood at the foot of my bed watching me, the creep... My mom is convinced it is her father, but it is a little too malicious feeling. My brother has heard footsteps and his fiance has been a medium for it, speaking of some weird things while she was asleep. My mom's cat saw it. She said he was sitting on the floor growling at the door and my mom saw a shadow move back away from the door. So pretty much everyone has seen of felt him.
I believe this house has a few gremlins. A few times something has not been where I left it. It could be my daughter, but I don't think so. My husband works on the airfield and he has seen the ghost on the haunted runway. He says there are gear gremlins that steal nuts and bolts from their equipment. And his wolf. I posted another thread on this, but he has a huge black wolf that watches him while he is in the woods.

When I was in high school I had a friend whose apartment was haunted, because the man who'd lived there previously had died there. One night we had a sleep over at her place. I knew it was haunted, but they'd said the ghost didn't do much, so I wasn't afraid to stay over. For this story to make sense I have to explain the layout of the place a bit, so please bear with me: They'd had an air mattress in the room across from the kitchen, still set up from when the friend's sister had been staying there, so I decided to sleep there instead of on the floor of my friend's room. There was a wall between her room and the room I was sleeping in, so I could knock on the wall or call out to her if I needed anything. There was also part of a different wall separating the hallway from my room, but no door or doorway.
Anyway, it got late, so we had both settled in for the night, and no one else in the house was awake. I had drifted off to sleep for just a bit, but awoke when I heard these loud, heavy foot steps walking down the hallway. At first I thought it was her Dad, but he'd gone to sleep earlier, and the steps were pacing back and fourth rather than stopping or going into any rooms, which was odd.
I called out "Hello?" No answer, just more walking. So I tried again, "Hello? ...Uh, what are you doing?" No reply again, but the foot steps were still going. The foot steps also kept walking right by the wall separating my room from the hallway, which the mattress was pushed up against, so it was very close- if the wall wasn't there, he'd be walking right by my head. So I could hear the foot steps clearly, and knew I wasn't imagining things. It definitely sounded like a grown man's steps, and sounded like he was wearing boots. I stayed quiet because I didn't know what I should do. I was so afraid that he'd finally walk past the wall, into the kitchen or into the guest room, and I would see a dead man. Naturally, I really, really didn't want that to happen. So at this point I was very freaked out, but finally got up the nerve to knock loudly on my friend's wall and yell to her to see if she was awake.
The foot steps stopped after that, and I went into her room, told her what happened, and we set up some blankets on the floor in her room. I didn't hear anything after that, and had a hard time falling back asleep for a while, but nothing else happened that night.
By the way, I didn't know it then, but guess which room of the apartment the guy died in?
The one I was sleeping in.

My grandmother died in the tv room. So every so often we will see her walking into the room and then she is gone.
Sometimes walking into the television room you can hear the t.v on and no matter how close you get you can never understand what they are saying. You can hear the sound that elecronics make when they are on. But once you walk into the room all the noise stops.
There was a spirit in our yard of a solider that we had been talking to. When ever he was around you could smell tobacco burning. Well one of the people in our neighborhood practices Wicca. He helped us to send the solider on to the next world.
I was outside one morning around 6:30 and i looked down to our barn which is more than 100 yards from the house. When i did i saw a man standing in suit with a hat. (i had seen it a couple of times.) Well i consulted my mentor (neighbor) and he said that most spirits leave if you give them a gift. (water,food,tobacco, ect.) So i went down their one morning at 6:28ish and waited for 6:30. I did not see the spirit so i took one of my cigarettes and cut it open and put it on the ground where i saw the spirit and to this date have not seen him there since. (and i checked multiple times XD)

Well here are some more things that have happened to me..
in our basement there are three closets that span the length of the hallway. each one has two doors. the one in the center has mirrors along the doors. anyways, sometime last year when you walked by or were setting in the basement you could hear a young girl whispering and it was coming from the middle closet. i could never understand what she was saying but it was a female voice and i always felt it was a younger girl. that went on for two or three months. as of October this year there are now knocking sounds and shuffling and thumping. those noises creeped my brothers and me out.
My brothers and myself were setting outside. and we all heard the sound of one of those old tubes you twirl that made the whirling noise. we looked it up and we came to a conclusion that it was a banshee. (for those that don't know what a banshee is a female spirit in Irish mythology, usually seen as an omen of death and a messenger from the Otherworld) about two days later our aunt was diagnosed with cancer and lived for about a week and a half before passing away. (We have some Irish in out blood) so yeah. those noises in the basement really are creeping us out XD. Now keep posting your own i want to hear everybody's stories ^__^

Well here are some more things that have happened to me..
We buried all our dogs in our yard. When we set out there sometimes we can hear and see them running through the field. One of our dogs name was Annie well she was MY dog she followed me everywhere always hung around me when i was sick ect. Well sometimes when me and my brothers are chilling around the fire pit i can feel a dog brush up against my legs. Sometimes it will even feel like a something heavy is setting on my feet ^__^.
i was at my aunt's house sleeping over to help her the next morning. well that night i was chilling outside on her porch swing smoking a cig. when the swing started moving like someone was pushing it. turned around and of course there was nobody there.
probably gonna get into the stuff my brothers have experienced soon XD
