The Bakery Welcome to the grand opening of Gypsie's Goodies! After weeks of renevating both the bakery in the front and the greenhouse in the back, Clothos is finaly ready to open for business. From the outside the buiding is quaint and simple, one can see racks of bread and pastries sitting just behind the window and an enticing aroma of fresh herbs and baking bread emits from the open door.
Inside you'll normally see Clothos sitting at a wooden counter that is laden with baskets of fresh rolls and pastries. There are stools in front of the counter for those who wish to sit there, and there are also tables covered in deep purple table cloths scattered around the open room for those who wish to dine in private. The inside looks much like a gypsy caravan, slashes of colorful cloth and drying herbs hang on many of the walls, and crystals hang from the cieling to catch the light from the windows, the mood inside the building is airy and light. To keep with the theme the owner of the establishment will sometimes, if asked, tell the fortune of her customers, though no one's sure if what she predicts is true or not... Her Menu:

Note: Most of her ingredients are home grown in her greenhouse in the back that she rarely lets anyone enter. The Greehouse Behind Clotho's shop is a decent sized greenhouse. She only lets trusted friends come in here and even then she is very weary to let them wander. She has many different kinds of plant in here and some of them aren't very friendly, but those she normally keeps in a room in the back. In the corner of the building there is a cot and a nightstand where Clothos sleeps, she prefers to be around her 'friends.' She will sell you plants however, for a price.

Staff Clothos (Store Owner) Clothos is the owner of this establishment and the greenhouse out back. Karin
(Serving Girl) She's usually in the bakery, even if Clothos isn't Dominic
(Greenhouse Tender) Dominic tends the greenhouse out back, though plants don't really like him that much...

Russell found himself drawn in by the smell, a fresh bakery in the town would sweeten it up a bit. He looked along the rows of still steaming bread and sighed happily, "Just beautiful" He murmured.

Clothos stood leaning against the counter, her chin resting on her hand. Today was her first day open but she still hadn't had a customer, 'I don't know why I thought I could do this,' she thought with a sigh. She had sent Karin home early because there was nothing for the poor girl to do. She reached over a picked up a loaf of her cooling focacia bread and began picking it to pieces on the counter.
Edit: Then she heard a noise and realized that someone had entered, "Ah," she said in suprise, dusting the remains of her bread behind the counter, "Ello, what can I do ya for?"

Russell glanced up and smiled, "I think..." He looked along the counter, "Three Loaves of your Basil Bread please!" He grinned again then continued to look around the bakery, then out onto the streets. The performers where performing just across the way, "This is a good spot, you'll get a lot of custom at night from the people who watch the shows..."

Clothos grinned, "Comin right up," she scurried around behind the counter, gathering the bread. Then she returned to the counter and proceeded to package the bread in three individual paper bags. "Ah know," she replied to his comment, "Me grandma left the store to me, long with the greenhouse. The name's Clothos by the way." She finished her packaging and pushed the bread forwards, "Tha'll be six silvers please,"

Russell furrowed his brow, "So... You, or this store has always been here?" He couldn't remember there being a bakery before, perhaps it was just another mystery of Havencrest. He chortled to himself and approached the counter, petting the bed gently. "My name's Russell, I own and run the Tavern across the way, how much do I owe you?"

Clothos shrugged at the man's question, "Ah just arrived a few weeks ago an' the buildins were 'ere." she wasn't aware that there hadn't been a building there before, what had her grandmother done? "It'll be nice to have a neighbor," she replied, "And those'll be six silver pieces."

Russell placed the coins on the counter and tried to remember what the building had been before a bakery but it was lost to him, "Well... This is a place of mysteries..." He chortled and gathered up the bread, partially unwrapping one of the loaves he bit into it, "Hmmm, thank you very much" He turned to leave, thinking that he would investigate, "Have a good evening, it'll probably get busy from now on" He said nodding as another patron entered the store.
((Sorry, I've got to go to work, welcome anyway though! Oh, before I forget, can you choose a different colour text for one of your characters? Just in case you should ever RP them together it'll be easier to follow. smile ))

Bianca raced into the bakery and looked around frantically before diving between bread rolls out of sight. The girl at the counter stared at the blood stains on Bianca's dress. Bianca tried to make herself smaller.

Clothos jumped and almost dropped the pan of hot cookies that she had just pulled out of the old stone oven. Carefully setting them down she turned and motioned for Karin to get behind the counter, which she did. Clothos made her way over to the rack the person had hidden behind. Upon closer inspection she noted that the girl was...well, blue, and also happened to be covered in blood, "Ere, wa's this then?" she said, her accent making a sharp contrast to the calm interior of her bakery. She inwardly cursed herself, she could normally talk pretty well accept when she was nervous or excited.

Seph saw the bakery up ahead, he had heard there was a band of gypsies in town.
Seph was quite fond of nomadic people and spent a few years of his youth travelling with a group of people called the Roma on Terra.
Seph opened the door and greeted the lady behind the counter.
Seph: "Hello there... How long have you been set up in Havencrest"
Seph said looking around, noticing the garments the lady was wearing was similar to that of medieval Roma on Terra.
Seph: "How did you find yourself here?"

Clothos turned away from the girl, giving her strange look then turned to the new customer. He looked fairly normal and he wasn't covered in blood, which was a plus. "Ah've been here a few weeks now, but today is ma first day open." At his next question she shrugged, "It's a long story, ah was born into a band o' superstitious trouble makers and theives, an when they found out ah could do this," she waved her hand at a small plant in a pot on her counter, her eyes flashed green for a moment and the plant grew rapidly until a full grown flowering bush all but burst from the pot, "They tried to burn me a' the stake," she shuddered, "Ah escaped and traveled around for a few years, then ah got a letter from ma grandmother, ah didn't even know ah had a grandmother, that told me to go to this strange tower. Ah didn't really 'ave anythin better to do, so ah went there an, eventually ended up 'ere."
She blinked when she realized she had all but told the man her whole life's story, "Ah'm sorry sir, Ah'm sure ye didn't wan to hear all that..."
