Hallo, I've just started reading Ultimate marvel comics (And yes I know, they were brought out like almost a decade ago, but I don't normally read comic books) and when I went onto the spiderman ultimate collection volume one, I have yet to see what happens (Still waiting for volume two to arrive sadly), but what I have read so far is when they finally introduce the green goblin.

I don't know why and what they were going for, but I definitely wasn't excited when I first saw him. Like sure green goblin is meant to be a super human that's totally insane, but not a freakish mutated monster that goes after Peter Parker and his family. I know Norman has no care for his family as the green goblin, but to obsessively hunt after them? Like I haven't read why yet, just up to his first defeat and encounter with Spiderman.
I also distaste how he doesn't go around in his hover board, even though it makes it questionable on how and why he got that (Well you know, it is questionable in someways) and he doesn't go around in a Halloween costume and doesn't go around in his secret identity developing more between him and Harry, let alone everyone else.

So far I do like the Ultimate marvel comics, but I just wanted to say that I wasn't into the new green goblin and wondered what everyone else thought (Though most my friends don't mind the new buff green goblin, thing is I do)
