Oh yeah, by the way, I wanted to ask. Do Spaniards and Mexians generally understand each other? Like if somebody from Madrid goes on holiday to Mexico, will they have trouble communicating? Or is the dialect fairly similar to the Castillian one?

Like if somebody from Madrid goes on holiday to Mexico, will they have trouble communicating? Or is the dialect fairly similar to the Castillian one? I've read that they'd have no problems understanding each other. The pronunciation is slightly different, but it's easy to catch. 3nodding
