Blood Slaves (Third chapter up)

A novel by Marjorie M. Campbell

Rating: Teen, for cursing, mentions of rape and such, blood and violence, sexual themes because Heidi likes sleeping with people, torture, sacrilegious themes, burning of bibles and overuse of crosses.

Summary: We left Earth. It was dying, and we were promised that Mars was better. We didn't know what we'd left behind though, what the taint of our destroyed planet would do to those who were too poor or too slow to get on the ships and leave.

And when we went back to Earth, after years had passed, we didn't question why. We just rebuilt, went back to living and continued to alert the Mars colonies about our fortune.

But those left behind never forgave. And soon, they rose up out of their self built graves.

Within days the entire Earth had been wiped out. Humans were forced to become blood slaves for these vampires, and those of us who survived either ran and hide or killed ourselves. Personally, I can't wait until I can do the latter.

There is no escaping the vampire legion.

I am seriously excited to see this. The plot sounds splendid, and just reading the summary makes me want to know more. (Not to mention that your playlist for it has a ton of my favorite songs. I almost squee'd when I saw Hide and Seek on the list with Frontline.)

I'm glad you like the summary, I was worried it was too brief or confusing. =/
Woohoo for favourite songs! I seriously want to know which ones we share a common love for now, hehehe. Hide and Seek was an easy one to choose, since I wanted a least a few playful songs on there to combat all the dark depressing songs.

Too confusing? No way. And if it was brief, it only made me more intrigued. The whole feel of it was just fantastic. Expect me to be an avid reader when you start posting it. =3

Just on the list? I think every one except for the one by Eminem and Rammstein was a favorite (I haven't heard any of those, though, so I'm not certain it counts)- though I don't particularly care for MCR and Disturbed. Really, I'm shocked- I wasn't expecting someone else to like the same music as I did. xD Now I'm wondering what other music likes we have in common, too! I do like how it's darker ones mixed with more playful though- I was noting that when I looked through it the first time, actually.

Fabulous! I'm so glad!

Rammstein isn't too well known here, since they haven't been touring in America after their little mishap ten years ago. They're a metal band, not many people I know like them.
Personally I don't like MCR either, but that song very much fits Amont, my vampire lord. So I had to slip it in there, despite how much it hurts. (: The playful songs usually are the theme songs of different characters. For Your Entertainment for example can be taken as Heidi's theme, though it fits the vampires well in general, since I'm a big believer in them being able to make the blood drinking pleasurable or painful.

Yay a reader! biggrin I am so glad you like it!

I will be! Since each chapter is more or less a day in her diary, the next one will be out whenever I finish writing day two or chapter two, as it's officially called. Luckily I'm at around 10:00 PM on day two so it won't be long, maybe tonight or tomorrow.
