(I wrote this for my Zane >w<) heart
You know those fairy tales where there’s a damsel in distress and she ends up rescued by prince charming?
They fall in love instantly and they know in their hearts that they were destined to be together and they live happily ever after.
Well, that’s the princess’ story.
Now I’ll tell you mine.
You can say I was a damsel in distress except I’m not as pretty as a princess.
I got rescued by my prince except he’s nothing like a prince.
He’s sweet but dangerous.
He’s strong yet sensitive.
He cares deeply for his friends and doesn’t care what anyone thinks about him.
He shines brighter than the sun.
His radiance is intense yet unseen by most.
But I see it.
He shines brighter than diamonds.
The princes of fairy tales only care about their looks and want the prettiest girl.
But he loves me for me and not because of what I look like.
He sees the beauty inside of me not the one outside.
That’s what a real prince should be like.
Not some fake one hoping to make all the girls around him faint.
I love him for him and I will always.
He rescued me.
He is my prince.
Maybe people see him as nothing special.
But he is special to me.
He sees the real me.
He accepts my faults and ticks and I accept his.
We fight sometimes but that doesn’t break us apart.
We stick together, protecting and defending one another.
And I think that’s what true love stories should be like.
Because fairy tales always seem so perfect, when the real world isn’t.
Most give up and let their relationships get lost through time.
But we won’t let that happen ever.
We’ll do everything to keep our love from fading away.
Maybe we were really destined for each other like in fairy tales?
Or maybe it was fate.
Whatever it was, I’m glad it happened.
I met my prince and I always thought there was nobody for me out there.
Well, that’s my story.
That’s my real life fairy tale.
The End
The Loveless Army
For those in love, out of of love, without love, or never to be loved.
