Why RP? The prompt blath are special and only avalable via RP. This ensures there owners are not only the best but also might be more active and not run away as soon as they get there blath. This is also a cheaper way of buying these rares as it takes more effort on your part. And so its a mater of suitability not gaia riches. Good luck!

Blathanna Name: Kichirou
Short History: (I am so sorry if this isn’t what you meant by history. I’m unsure of several facts about the elders and used my own interpretation of them for this.)
Kichirou was born normal. Everything about him was normal. Normal parents, siblings, and events. He was going to mate a female until he found out she didn’t really love him. After that, he took into his head to see the world. His traveling and experiences were extensive. Kichirou did his best to learn as much as he could from his location.

One year it seemed Summer would never end. It stretched on and on with no Fall in sight. Whispers started, “Where was Fall? Would Winter ever come again?” Whispers turned into rumors. Kichirou listened and kept his thoughts to himself. Deep down he was very worried. Fall never to return? It was horrible and wished he could somehow help. As if answering his wish, the three other seasons stepped before him. Winter. Spring. Summer. He gapped for a time at them in awe.

“Winter cannot start without Fall and send the animals into their deep sleeps,” spoke Winter.

“Spring cannot return and awaken the world with a burst of life,” said Spring.

“Summer cannot mature the life of Spring, and cannot rest without Fall.” Summer’s weary eyes bored into him.

Winter’s voice swept around the grove, the chill of many frozen nights rustling the leaves, “Will you become Fall and allow our cycle to continue?”

Their plight was apparent to Kichirou. Thus he became Fall.

Personality:
Kichirou is a shy and elusive blathanna. The surest bet to find him is when the leaves change color from green to reds, yellows, and browns. Not that finding him in another season is impossible; it simply requires more diligent searching. He takes his responsibility to Fall very seriously. The turn of the Season from Summer to Winter is a delicate time. Too fast, and many will suffer; too slow, and things become a disaster. He feels a great weight upon his shoulders during his Season.

His favorite time of the year is, of course, Fall. It always has been. The turning of the leaves into vibrant shades of color. That cool, crisp wind in your face sending tingles down into your paws. The fruits of the fall harvest. (Particularly pumpkin. >.<) Kichirou has a slight distain of Spring simply as it is the opposite of Fall. It is nothing serious. He understands the importance of Spring, even though it is the reversal of his own process.

When you meet the spirit of fall what happens!?
Fall was just waking. His wings stretched out. The leaves closest to him, that formed the safe cocoon of his den, shivered and started to loose their green color. Shaking leaves from his wings, Kichirou emerged from his den into the morning light.

It was closing on Halloween. I’d been looking forward to the festivities for some time. Decorations were hung by the chimney…. No, no wrong season. Tombstones and ghosts haunted my front lawn. It was my favorite time of year. The air cooling after the summer’s heat, and the leaves turning colors.

It was only a few days ‘til Halloween, and I’d finished the carving of my jack-o-lantern. I enjoyed the cheeky little face enough to keep it in the house while I worked. The seeds of the pumpkin were being lightly toasted in the oven. Their smell wafted through my house.

An unsuspecting blathanna was passing by, when he caught a whiff of pumpkin in the air. Kichirou turned to follow his nose. What was that wonderful smell so like pumpkin, yet wasn’t? Barely able to wait long enough for the seeds to cool, I took a bowl of them and went to sit out on the porch swing. Shortly after sitting down I noticed a pair of eyes watching me from some bushes. “Hello there. Come here.” I tried to coax the little critter.

I could see it, no. Her? Him? Him then, sniffing the air. With a smile on my lips I tossed a seed in his direction. It landed several feet from his hiding place. It landed so tantalizingly close to him. Kichirou wavered for a moment. To be seen or not to be? Quick as a flash he darted out and snatched the seed and dashed back under cover.

Stifling a chuckle, I waited. Would he come back or take off not that he’d gotten some? My hope was soon answered by a pair of eyes peering at me. “A shy little one aren’t you?” It was a long hour, and many pumpkin seeds later. He was just within reach. I slowly moved a hand towards him as he picked up the most recently proffered seed.

My hand stroked his fur and he froze. Gently, lightly. Pet, pet, pet. Our eyes met and a slow smile crossed my lips. The little critter leaned into my cresses and took another proffered pumpkin seed.
