well im your new sub-leader, i give you all permission to be impressed
So as my first question, What made death-note a good manga to you?Death-note is a completed manga and yet its fanbase continues to grow and it remains as one of the current 10 most read manga, it is also in the top 5 all time best written manga
So post what you find is great about death-note

The characters were creative, and there were awesome plot twists.

The plot line was cool but I liked the creativity of the characters and also the suspence. Misa she was kind of interesting, she was really wierd at the begining when she was all into light. Why does Ryuk like apples? stare

I love the suspence. The curiosity. The random humor. The complexion of the characters is completely marvelous... And the twists and turns? How do these people come up with these things like the fathoming of the Death Note and the surrealness of a Shinigami...? They're disgustingly talented.... Marvelous....

why do i like deathnote?? well, i guess it was the contest as i put it, between L and Light. You never exactly knew what either of them was really thinking. I love the shinigami too. Overall one of the best mangas i have ever read and one of the best animes i have ever had the pleasure of watching.

I can relate to that, as a manga, it held somthing more than the regular feelgood attitude, i loved the continual twists and mind games played by the two of them.

I loved the back-and-forth between L and Light. It kept me entertained and wondering just what would happen next. And then L died...I felt it was inevitable but I still cried just a little when it happened.
And I don't fangirl either...

I adore deathnote because of it's modern gothic adaptation of a crime series. it twists fantasy into a plot of normality. i have to say i hate misa she's a bit annoying and a mainstream character, because you just have to throw a sexy female character in and ruin the indepth relationship between the detective and the killer gonk stare i think it's very clever how they made light and L similar in ways becaus it takes one to know one. overall I love it for it's gothic murder styles. heart xp
