I'm not very good with names yet, but I think I'm going to pick Tsutarja. I don't have a particular *type* of starter I like to use, so I'm just going on cuteness factor for these (Like I always do). razz
Which one are YOU going to pick? How come?
P.S. I don't think this thread is a repeat, but if it is, I'm sorry!

In the beginning I wasn't sure, so I looked them up on youtube. Lucky for me it had previews of the starters. Tsutarja did look pretty but it's so... arrogant. D: And Pokabu... I don't know, I felt nothing. And then came Mijumaru. His sprite looked so emo which I felt was lame but then I saw him in action. Whoa he was so cool. He looked serious and determined and used his body shell to defend and attack. So neat! I finally understood why people were calling him the Samurai.

im picking the sea otter just because iv alwaysed started with water but i think the grass snake is the coolist one

the starter i picked first was Pokabu. mainly because it looked the coolest and at the time i decided, i didn't know what the evos looked like. stat wise it's ok, appearance wise(fully evolved) it looks horrendous >.<
i started new game, picked mijumaru, so far i'm liking it, final evo looks buff
i detest Tsutarja, it gets this ability from dream world which reverses negative effects,so, leaf storm 120 base+stab+2 sp.atk stages... ugh... it's such a nooby and over used sweep combo >.<

I'm not sure. I want Tsutarja because I like it's final evo.
But I also like Mijumaru, issue being I hate its final evo ; w;

i'm going to pick Pokabu which is weard because i hate fire
starters (because there so overated)
(i think the pokemon company should have tryed harder with
the starters)

To be honest I'm not really in love with any of the starters this time but I'll probably pick Mijumaru because he's the cutest and he's blue (blue must be my favorite color, or at least for pokemon, because most of my team is usually blue).
Hopefully I'll have a new working DS by the release of Black and White.. My old one died in a bad bad way so I'm replaying the old Blue and Red cartigues after finding my pink Gameboy Color. The graphics are so bad.. Funny, since I thought they were awesome at the time.

i'm going to pick the one that will give me an advantage over the first few gyms and give me enough time to grab a few pokes i am more fond of...
To be honest, i don't fancy any of the gen 5 starters

It depends on my brother's pick, I would pick Tsutarja in default.

I do love the fire starter, it's so cute and epic. If I can, I'll choose it. But the first couple of gyms in the game with probably be what makes me decide which one to choose.

You can't keep those abilities and use them for battling with friends and stuff, can you?
As for my starter... I'll be picking Pokabu. And as lame as it may be, he shall be christened 'Bacon'
