Hi all I am new to this guild and am looking for some input on my writing! I write all sorts of stuff from horror to fantasy! I have even written to books although as of today they remain unpublished, but I am trying to get published. I also write poetry and short stories. My poetry ranges from love to suicide. But as of late most of my poems have been of love b/c i have found my soulmate! and it is all thanks to gaia that I have found this incredible man! I am 23 years old and have been writing for ten years! I wrote my first poem at 13 when a friend of mine was tragically killed in a car accident and I was put into counselling over it. The counselor told me that writing down my feelings in any form was a good way to cope. So ever since then I have been writing. I have quite the knack for it and have entered quite a few writing contests at my college where I have either placed or received honorable mentions. I am proud of my talent but I am always looking for the opinions of fellow writers. Please feel free to post your thoughts. And if you would like to read more of my work I'm sure I'll post more! Just keep an eye out!

The Love Not Shared
Tears held back
from days ago
now flow gently
to the floor.
Silently they fall,
Running down my cheeks.
In every tear,
my pain shows deep.
Gentle sobbing,
I do make.
Death will be
my poor heart's fate.
I love you
too much
not to care.
But that love
you do not share.

Nice poem i like the stay hard meaning, a beautiful mix of sorrow and happiness. Well that is how i saw it i' am alittle out there, hehe.

Hi, I'm Cereah. I loved your poem. I read alot of poetry and I enjoy it most of the time. I loved your poem. (Can't say it enough) It was very deep, had good rhythm, and touched the reader! Keep up the good work!
