Draka The Solitary
Vice Captain

Just outside the city walls lies a camp for the mercenaries. The place is a small collection of tents and small buildings that have uses as forgeries and tactical advantage in battle. Everything here is reinforced with some sort of protection whether it is spell or armor in order to provide these people with a place where they do not have to worry about intrusion. The entire camp itself has an invisible barrier placed there to keep it hidden from the outside world but allow faction members to pass through.

Zaine followed Draka into an area filled with tents, "So, this is the glorious-" He thought about it for a minute. He didnt even know what this place was. "Where are we?"

"Welcome to my faction kid!" He smiled as he began roasting a pig on the large campfire in the center of it.

"If you want work we got it, you want a safe refuge we also got it. All this and a large sum of gold can line those pockets. We are the Mercenaries of Invictus. Only loyal to me and the money I so graciously give you for performing the contracts we get."

He smiled at the kid then asked, "Now what is your name?"

He looked around before staring into the mans eyes, "Zaine, only Zaine, no last name and no past. We can be great friends as long as I can leave my history at that." He smiled, waiting for a response. He was up for work, it suited him. He didnt like to have nothing to do.

Draka chuckled, "Alright then only Zaine, here is the deal you swear your loyalty to me and I will keep you working and keep the gold pieces sliding your way."

He offered Zaine a piece of the pig he was roasting, "Deal?"

Zaine nodded," I swear my loyalty to you and only you, but dont expect me to trust everyone here." He looked at the meat," No thanks, I dont eat much." He stared at Draka," So whens the first contract, the quicker the money the better." He smirked, maybe he had finally found his place in this horrible town.

He smiled and set the piece of the pig down. He flipped Zaine four gold pieces,

"That's my down payment. Now i need you to go and express our good natured business to the lycans. They have to have something they want done, because the vampires seem to have a truce with them and it's bad for business so do whatever you think will work in order for them to trust me enough we need them to war again...This peace makes me sick."

He smiled his brilliant red eyes returning to their dark color again.

Zaine gave him a confused look," So you want me to try to stir up war between the lycans and the vampires?" Zaine stared at the floor,"Fine, but i'm not one that gets along well with them. I'll need a partner."

Draka frowned, "That's the point of this city, not getting along. But fine I will go with you. I need to stretch my legs and the tavern was getting old."

Zaine smirked, so he could get Draka to do the work and he ould get paid, he liked this already. Of course, he would have to pitch in, just hopefully he would be dealing with non-lycans next time he just didnt like them. He looked at Draka, "Ready?" Zaine pulled up his hood and unsheathed his sword. It was rusty and old, maybe he could afford a good one in a few weeks time.

Draka eyed the weapon, "Maybe we should forge you a new one, we do have a forge over there."

He motioned at the building at the eastern side of the camp.

Zaine looked at him, "After this mission, I'm sure it'll hold up if i need it to." He smirked, the blade had been this bad when he had gotten it, and it had never failed. It was one of his most prized possesions. It was a family hierloom that his great great great grandfather had named the Raven. Though he never shared that with anyone. He nodded, signaling to continue.

(P.S. im goin to bed soooo be on tommorow.)
