On a lone highway that had been darkened by a cloud of night one truck was heard rumbling down the way. A Hummer H1 roared past abandoned and forgotten cars and towns driving to a new place to spend the night. The headlights seem to light up the entire strip as he drove. A transmisson played over and over again to any survivors who maybe in the area. He had been part of a convoy of survivors before this point but a tragic event either killed them or turned them into these monsters. Alone and suffering from the pain he drove on endlessly without any real plan or destination.
Stumbling upon places which appeared safer then some. Most nights he slept in his truck. Soon he came upon a small town. The town of Kempton. deciding there maybe no where else to gather supplies or to sleep for the night he pulled off the highway and drove into the town. The center was emptied as there seemed to be no survivors or dead in the town.
He cruised around finding a gas station and pulled in pushing an abandoned car out of the way. As he climbed out he saw the remains of a worker there. "How could we do this?" He asked himself as he filled up his gas tank and containers.
He parked next to the station and shut the truck off locking all the doors. He let the transmission continue hoping someone would answer. He sat waiting holding his 44 magnum in hand

Morning came as Renton woke suddenly sweating and breathing heavy. "Dam these dreams..." He said to himself holding his 44 Magnum in hand. He removed his blanket and looked out the windshield to see dark clouds had moved in. Rain fell onto the truck's roof in a calming sound. He shook his head waking up and climbed into the driver seat.
"Now for supplies" he said starting the truck. After an hour of raiding the town he found very little of anything useful to him. He collected a few guns from abandoned cruisers and a few cans of food found in a small store. "Guess someone cleared out this town. I'll have to move on" He said shifting into drive. He turned the monster around and drove to the town's limit pushing through a small road block.
He continued along as the town grew smaller in his mirror. He noticed on the side of the road sitting an armored Ford E-350 Cargo van abandoned. He slowed down and stopped behind it taking out his 12 Gauge shotgun. He climbed in finding some more food and fuel. Taking it he found a small child's necklace hanging off the rear-veiw mirror. He took it in his hand and gripped it. Climbing out and back into the rain he hopped in his truck and drove off hoping to find another town soon that has supplies.

He pulled to the side of the road and let the transmission play. "If any survivors are hearing this please respond. I am transmitting on all frequencies. My fequency is 104.2.
i do have some supplies and can provide protection. Please respond" It said as he looked at the necklace. "Sarah" It said on the small name tag. He hung the necklace around his rear-view mirror. He then noticed a highway sign which had begun to rust and fall over. It barely read
Ohio state line............40 Miles
Danningville................21 Miles
Shankton....................10 Miles"
"Guess I'll head over to Ohio. There maybe something there." He said shifting into drive and heading out. The transmission continued along the dead fequncies

Driving for what seemed like days he came upon a large city. "I shouldn't go in here. it's part of my rules" He said but then felt his stomach growl. Grumbling he turned into the city. He drove through finding nothing. He looked through old shops and boarded up homes looking for supplies finding small thins and food. Collecting enough he decided to head back to his truck. He headed out when a sudden noise caught his ear.
He took out his shotgun and looked around finding nothing at first. He shrugged thinking it was nothing. He walked to the door when a zombie jumped him attempting to bite and knocking his shotgun across the room. "Get off me you undead scum" He said taking out his handgun and shooting the zombie's head.
He threw the body off and got back up grabbing his gun and supplies as moans filled the air. Zombies began to pour onto the street from buildings all around. He began shooting the zombies taking some down. He rushed back to his truck climbing in and locking the doors. The truck roared to life as zombies began hitting the truck's doors and window.
He shifted into drive and hit the gas crushing the zombies infront of him. Blood sprayed onto the tires and sides.One zombie grabbed onto the truck's hood as his legs were ripped off leaving half a zombie moaning and smacking on the windsheild. He charged down the street hitting some parked cars and drifting onto a road. Pulling out his handgun he shot the zombies. It's body rolled off the hood. Suddenly he saw headlights "Oh Crud!" He said as he slammed on the brakes.

-annie wakes up in her humvee and sees and hummer pass by slowly so she starts her humvee and follow stranger with head lights off. she swurves pass the abbando civilian cars and military evac trucks still following this stranger. she turned on the head lights as zombies appeared for darknes was falling and parked in mid of streeet and got in turret and shot at the zombies. she folded turret down and lock the door and atch and went past the parked humvee and turned around aat end of road and waited with lights on.-

He noticed lights in his rearview mirror "What the..." He said stopping once he heard the gunfire. He turned the Humvee around and drove back over to her with the roof lights on. He slowly approached the vehicle seeing it waiting and stopped in front of it climbing to the hatch.

"That won't be a problem. There is a straight road that leads to that in the town. But it's crawling with the dead." He said showing her the road on a GPS screen.

"Oh yeah. goverment grade MNU truck. That should crush them quite nicely" He said stunned by truck. "With my Hummer here and that beastly truck we should be able to get through this zone with out a problem." He said

-annie pulls down the gun hanging by window and aims it forward-"oh course send the marine first."-annie floors it and shoots nearby zombie and heads for turret system honking the horn as she goes.-"here they come!" she yell back to u -zombies come out of buildings and chase the humvee-
