What is "Akatsuki"?

"Akatsuki" is really the romaji for dawn or daybreak. Akatsuki is an organization of highly skilled and dangerous nukenin with the power to challenge even a kage. Their purpose is to capture jinchuuriki and take their bijuu in order to shed a "new dawn" on the world. Of course, Akatsuki wont take just any old nukenin who happens to find interest.

What are the prerequisites to becoming an Akatsuki?

The only prerequisites are that the one applying must have reached S-Rank Nukenin and there be a ring available

What are these "Rings"?

The rings signify membership. If a ring isn't available, then a new Akatsuki member cannot be accepted. There are a total of ten rings which can be taken. Here are the rings...(Rings with a username next to them have already been taken)
