On the north side of Havencrest at the very border of the city wall lies an abandon cathedral now in disrepair. Once a place of holy practice now in ruin from years of abuse by creatures that lurk from behind the wall built to protect citizens from creatures of The Dark. Humans who have practiced religion in the cathedral have fled long ago, as have the creatures who terrorized them during their stay. The cathedral has been nicknamed 'The Tainted Cathedral' from the days of dark beings running rampant within it's once-holy safe haven.
Layout
The first floor of the cathedral has one large lobby entrance, one ceremonial room, one confrence room, one baptization room, and a waiting room that has caved in. The second floor has three private rooms that seemed to have served as the preist's quarters (one caved into the first floor waiting room.), one study, and one confessional box that locks from the outside. The third story is the peak of the cathedral that houses a functional bell rung manually. There is also a dungeon-like basement that branches off into four dirty rooms, three are assumed to have been used for black magic and satanic rituals, the last a cellar door to the back yard grave site full of complex underground crypts and tombs. It's safe to say there used to be an equal amount of good and evil at work here.
Many hidden rooms lie in wait for brave souls to venture into the dangerous and unforgiving parts of the cathedral and grave yard. Will you be the adventurer to discover one of these many hidden areas?

Alice stumbled into The Tainted Cathedral about two years ago in search of shelter after fleeing her previous home in Havencrest, quickly settling in comfortably. Other than frequent walls and windows in ruin, this new home is perfect for her. She does not know of any hidden rooms or dark secrets the cathedral holds. Yet...
 Bat Horde (Stray Bats)
A fairly sized cluster of bats occupy the cathedral as well, potentially dangerous if provoked in large numbers. They don't care to bother Alice, and Alice does not bother them in return.

Alice sped blindly through the forest, whizing past trees and getting scratched by twigs and barbed vines as she flew with tremendous speed twards her home. She nearly crash landed wanting to get inside the cathedral as quick as possible, landing at a dangrous pace and running to keep from tripping to the ground. She sobbed as she ran up the steps to the tall ornate doors of the cathedral, running inside without caring to close the doors. She ran from the vast entrance room to the ceremonial room, slowing to a jog and collapsing onto a dusty pew. She sobbed long and hard curled up in the fetal position with her hands covering her face, barely being able to catch her breath. 'How could i have done that? How could i have killed a human?', she thought clinging to the reminder that this was all Alaster's fault. She calmed down to a pitiful pout, taking short sharp breaths occasionally "I didn't mean to," she said aloud. "i really didn't." she was pleading to no one, but it strangely made her feel better, if only a bit.

After almost a day of sulking on a dust ridden pew infested with cob webs, Alice sat up. She let out a long sigh, she was getting hungry again. She felt reluctant to go back to Havencrest, but it is her only sorce of food for the time being. She stood up, brushing the dust off of her blood stained dress, not that it would look much better anyway. She walked down the aisle of the cathedral's ceremonial room, passing what looked to be a large statue of a holy crucifix at the very end in total ruin. She climbed the broken statue and perched atop it, staring out of the shattered colorful window that once depicted angels in flight. She sprout her wings and kicked off of the statue, beating her wings quickly and flying through a large hole in the window. She was now flying to Central Plaza in search of her next meal.

Morganna in her crow form flew towards the abandoned church. She learned of a girl that resided there from a few creatures in the Dark.
As she neared the church, she reached out her senses, The girl wasn't there. She would have to come back another time. Swooping low over the cathedral she swung back around and headed towards town.
She needed to pick up a few things before returning home.

Alice glided on a strong draft as she came near her home, but with the draft came a peculiar scent.. it was familiar but she couldn't place her finger on who exactly it was. She got tense as she landed on the roof of a crypt in a large grave yard behind the cathedral. Fog thickly clogged her vision with the darkness of night. She dropped off of the roof and started walking to a cellar entrance in the back of the cathedral.

Alice reached for the rusty iron handle of the cellar, she just wanted to get inside quickly to calm her nerves. As soon as her hand touched the handle, she whipped around in a panic "Oh!",
Nothing was there.
Just her nerves getting the best of her in the fog of night. She sighed and opened the door, walking inside and closing it behind her. She felt walls to get around to the steps upstairs in the dark. The basement always gave her an erie feeling, such an air of evil she couldn't shake. She opened the wooden door at the top of the stairs and walked into the waiting room. Just great. The whole room was closed off from caving in.

Morganna came to a soft landing, her boots left tracks through the damp grass as she made her way to the cathedral. The door was locked behind the girl, so she looked for an alternate entrance. There was a broken stained glass window, turning back into a crow Morganna flew up and inside the window.
Right as the girl entered the room, she landed on a bench in front of her. She stared at her with a large green eyes and then turned back into a human. She lowered her hood allowing her long straight black hair flow down her robes. She took a few steps towards her... and then stopped to see if the girl was frightened.

Alice was just about to turn and leave the ruined waiting room when she saw Morganna land as a crow, she turned and watched as Morganna turned into a human. Alice was incredibly nervous and finicky by nature, drawing both daggers from her theigh straps and raising them tward Morganna. "Don't come any closer," she said in a stern tone, she could feel her heart start thumping violently. "...it was you. My land reeks of your stench, why are you here?". Alice was not pleased to see Morganna intrude in her home, and she did not intend to let her stay long. She tightened her grip on both Serpent's Tongue daggers, their black blades letting off a sleek glint in the moonlight through the broken window.

Morganna took a few steps to the left, watching the girl. "My my, Not the best attitude towards a guest. You need to learn some manners." Her boots clicked and rang throughout the room, echoing with each step she took. "I need your help Alice. I've been watching you, and I know what your capable of..." She continued pacing and smiled at that thought.
"Cows just aren't enough for you are they?" Morganna waved her hand above the floor in front of her. An apparition of the farmer lying lifeless appeared in between the two. She smiled wickedly, enjoying herself.

Alice's eyes widened in horror at Morganna's twisted tease, it felt like her drumming heart had stopped, and her stomach in knots. "No..!" she muttered, dropping to her knees and dragging herself backwards to sit against a wall. Alice started to tremble, looking up at Morganna unable to shake that the man was just an illusion "Y-you..," she studdered in a panic "You're a sick, sick woman," she spat violently. "Why would i help someone like you?"

Alice glanced over to the window, noticing a man watching them from within the grave yard. "We have a v-visitor." she said, trying to distract Morganna for an easy escape.
