Sybil had laid deep within the shadows as nightfall approached, awaiting the silence that it brought as most of the community fell back to their dens for the night.
*Ahh... sweet silence...* she thought to herself when she emerged from the shadows and into the rays of moonlight that were peeking through a few scarce clouds in the sky. It was a beautiful night and she intended on enjoying as much of it as she possible could of it.
Padding over to the riverbank she touched a paw first along the waters surface and watched how the moonlight danced upon the ripples of the water, before she dove her way under the surface and coming back up to float on her back, gazing up at the moon and stars with glowing eyes amidst the darkness of the night.
