'Hi Megan,' Addison said as she walked in, noting the teenager sitting with legs swinging on one of the work tables, as well as a disturbed-looking blonde girl huddled by her bed.

'Hey!' Megan said, turning to look at the redhead with a grin, 'I was trying to get Holly to get off her lazy butt and do something for like, once. Right Holly?!'

'Loud...loud noises...' Holly mumbled, clutching her head, '...Too much, too much...everything...hurts...'

'Is she okay...?' Addison asked rather redundantly, staring at the blonde.

'Yeah, she's fine. She's just LAZY!' Megan vaulted herself off of the work table, going over to Holly and wresting her arms away from her head, 'C'mon! How long have you been down here now? Like, go get some damn food, smarten up and do some work!' Holly wailed and shrieked, wrestling with Megan's grip and trying to jerk away. Megan responded by heaving a frustrated sigh and letting go. 'Fine!'

'Hey, um, Holly?' Addison asked, having watched the entire scene uneasily, 'Are you hungry?'

'Mm...icing...' Holly mumbled, smiling to herself when she'd finished. She made no move to let go of Addison's hair, instead crawling the short gap between them and slumping against the woman. 'Pretty...pretty hair...'

'What the hell is wrong with her?' Megan tactlessly asked, watching Holly loop both arms around Addison and cuddle up against her.

'I don't know.' Addison honestly answered, giving Holly's messy hair a comforting pat all the same and helping to support her. 'I don't think she's well enough to help though, from um, the looks of it, anyway.'

'Yeah well Zack wants her to, so.' Megan said, 'We're all 'sposed to do our part. Not sit around crying in empty labs.'

Addison looked down at Holly, giving her back a comforting rub. 'Hey Holly, do you want to come with me while I do some stuff?'

'What did Zack ask you to do?' Megan demanded, uncrossing her arms and heading back to lean against the work table again.

'Nothing yet, I was going to go see if he wanted to change that.' Addison said over her shoulder, as Holly nodded slowly and said a quiet '...Yes...'

'Okay well, I'm gonna go like do something useful now.' Megan announced, adding a cheerful 'Bye!' before phase shifting and disappearing through one of the walls. Addison turned back to Holly, carefully helping her up and then opening a portal for them to pass through.

'Let's go see what we can do.' Addison told the blonde, guiding her along into the portal and leaving the room empty.

'Look, love, I can't stick around, I'm busy,' Paris said, reaching for the door.

'Ow! What the hell, love? Lemme go!' Paris snapped, pulling himself from her grasp.

'Come on, this isn't funny!' Paris insisted, lightly grabbing at her wrists, slowly heading back towards the door. 'Please, honey, let me go.'

'Aaaaahhh! Okay, okay! I'll stay! Jeez...' Paris grumbled, looking at Holly with a mixture of concern and reproach.

Paris felt slightly apprehensive as he settled down beside her, but there was hardly anything else he could do. With that barrier in place, there was no way he could get out of the room. He half wondered if she had taken him there for the creep who called him a prisoner; the girl hardly seemed right in the head, and it was difficult for Paris to figure out just whose side she was on.
