But it's funny! Let me know what you think Rudies. The following songs I will soon turn into ska songs with my band -Baby Got Back -Ice, Ice, Baby -Some Shakespeare sonnet.
Yay? Nay? Any other suggestions? By the way, we are a comedy Ska band. Like, Stephen Lynch meets Early Aquabats mixed with RBF.

Don't let that be all you play. Because bands like that (Ever hear of Flip the Switch?) Are funny at first, but get REAL old REAL quick. But go for it, if it's what you guys wanna do. And invite me to a show if you do one in the downriver area. <3

I'm diggin' the Shakespeare sonnet, but I've heard the Ice Ice Baby and Baby Got Back done... I think by Project Akimbo... or was it The Ninjas or Donkey Punch... anyways two of those three. I suggest covering something like Fury Of The Storm by Dragonforce, Be Chrool To Your Scuel by Twisted Sister, or To Hell With The Devil by Stryper. All classic metal songs.

LOL this is a great idea for a thread. I was thinking more on the lines of any Bush song would make a horrible ska cover lol.

Well, I mean, we're not like the Weird Al of Ska, but we have a sense of humor. But, we also thought "Hot for Teacher" - Van Halen as a song.

That's okay, my bro and I are working on starting a thrash/ska band with kazoos instead of a horns section... all we have to do is figure out how to make a guitar first... But yeah, lets just say reggae cover of "Rats in The City" by the Virus, not to mention like 200 Japanese songs most of you people have prolly never heard....

You should do sonnet 116.
That'd be hard but it could be really good if you did it right.
