Just discovered The LXD. Just watched every episode on Hulu.
...and, wow. eek How did I not know about how awesome this was before?

Sanguina Cruenta You should read more. ninja I really should. blaugh Dunno...been in a wandering aimlessly, bored out of my mind, but don't really know what to do with myself state of mind lately. The closer we get to the holidays, it's only bound to get worse. I might be finally getting a job of sorts though, so that would really help make it all better. *crossing fingers*

Nebulance Just discovered The LXD. Just watched every episode on Hulu. ...and, wow. eek How did I not know about how awesome this was before? Care to share something about this show. I know nothing about it XD

The League of Extraordinary Dancers. It's a short-episode show that's like a musical, but with dancing instead of singing. Incredible dancing.
I am not a dancer, nor do I watch stuff like Dance With The Stars, but this was a real treat to watch.

So, I went to Barnes and Noble and got three new books today! ninja I got Practical Magic by Alice Hoffman, Dream Work by Mary Oliver, and The Homeric Hymns. They didn't have the Homeric Hymns so I had to order it and I was lucky to find Practical Magic (the only had one copy of it in the entire store). sweatdrop Has anyone else gotten new books over the holidays??

They didn't have the Homeric Hymns so I had to order it and I was lucky to find Practical Magic (the only had one copy of it in the entire store). sweatdrop Has anyone else gotten new books over the holidays?? Nope, but I got a handful before the holidays. Younger and Elder Eddas, "To Fly By Night" by Crummer et al. and one of the Parasol Protectorate books. And my cousin gave me a $50 book voucher, which was a shock because I don't often get a gift from him. So now I have to think of something I want from Borders...

I picked up "A Lion Among Men" which if the previous 2 books were any indication should be excellent and "The Warrior Heir" Which is a first book by a local author. I'm 3 chapters in and it seems to be a take on the fey and the light and dark courts. Not sure where it's going yet, but I like the writing style and at least one of the characters is engaging, 'course he was only in the first chapter, but I'm sure he'll come back.
