It is 1850, London England. March 13th to be exact, the day that would forever change the world, though no one knew it. 10 years earlier the first clockwork man was created. 15 feet tall and powered by steam, this machine served little more than a crude doll for the rich. However as time went onward these clockwork men became more refined, serving as construction tools. It was not long before these machines were turned to use in war, however they were not sturdy enough to be plausibly used in a combat situation so they soon became obsolete for that purpose. Now, in 1850, the remarkable has happened. A new clockwork man model has come out, a 6 foot tall clockwork man that is designed to aid with household chores. March 13th, London England, 14665 Westfold lane, 4:15 in the afternoon a delivery was made. A large box was dropped off at 14665 Westfold lane and a transaction was made, the father of a small family of 5 brought the large wooden box inside and called down his family and this is where are story really begins...

Based on the Isaac Asimov short story "Bicentennial Man" and movie "Bicentennial Man" and enriched historical facts I present the steampunk version of The Bicentennial Man.
