well now my good people i have decided to come to the educated masses of our guild in hopes of getting a few opinions on a piece of literature i am currently working on here is just a brief overview of what the story comprises of... ahem during the year 1892 in the steam driven continent of aether the largest empire known to mankind, the royal Acadian empire and its army the league of Nihilism descend upon the smaller but very important city of Light's Hope. the league easily conquers all of the city imposing upon them there way of life and the harsh punishments and taxes that come with it. the citizens of Lights hope are suffering and have lost all hope of ever being free, as the all powerful league of Nihilism not only is equipped with the most advanced technology known to man they have found a way to turn a man into something inhuman using steam engines and implants. but hark all hope is not lost for in the depths of the city in the once grand chapel district now marred by filth and rubbish a resistance force grows. with the help of a few good men trained by the great league of steam the citizens of lights hope members of the resistance call the old chapel home as well as there base of operations. our main hero Lord Alistair La-Mont leads the resistance unhappily into a battle to end all battles a battle for the very souls of all mankind. the old chapel and its residents have truly become the worlds one and only hope... well thats just what i have as an overview let me know what you think
