Yes, music is fine here, at least as long as there's not a forum specifically for it. (If one is made, a mod will move threads like this.)
Static-X Trocadero Breaking Benjamin Mindless Self Indulgence Bad Religion Lords of Acid NOFX Cradle of Filth Kittie Louis Armstrong
That's just a few.

There's a local Oklahoma City, Oklahoma band called either Esthing or 3sthing (the flyer from the event I saw them at made it impossible to tell) who are really great. Their music is electronic and irregular, and it's very soothing. In fact, I just enqueued them to play as soon as my Trocadero is finished. Beautiful, if you can find any of their stuff anywhere, I suggest checking it out.

Blind Guardian is the only reason why I didn't start hating Tolkien yet. First he writes hobbit and it's nice, amusing and simply a good read... and then BAM! comes LotR followed by Silmarillion.

First half of Two Towers was good... but the rest was just suffocating. I swear I'll read the Simarillian someday. >.> But yes... Nigthfall In Middle Earth is brilliance.

Nigthfall In Middle Earth is brilliance. Oh, it was. And Silmarillion is even worse: it's "Blahblah son of YaddaYadda the grandson of Tereferekuku" most of the time. You can't forget "The Lord of the Rings". That's one of their best songs IMO.
